I spent an hour on youtube VR and there isnt any video clear enough for me to be amazed. Tried many and they are all lacking in visual quality even the 180degree ones. Not even Oculus TV downloadable content is high enough bitrate or resolution. U can always tell its lacking clarity 😢 Edit: after 2 more hours between youtube VR and Meta quest TV the sharpest video I could find is: “The Soloist”. Its full 360 and everything is freaking sharp.

Try searching for 8K 180 vr and make sure the Quality should be over 4,000 amd you'll get a super clear video and I've never had a problem with any of the videos I've watched on my KZread app and I've had the headset since it launched and I also own the PSVR2 so I know what high fidelity VR looks like

Slice of life Vr on youtube has some of the higher quality I’ve seen in 8k, that’s about as good as it gets sadly, the camera technology just isn’t there yet and most platforms don’t support anything higher than 8k yet

The Doja cat concert on meta tv is super high quality as well, most VR videos are years old on outdated cameras it’s hard to find recent stuff

See a few that were superb 👌 just check the quality setting in each video. Was as good as a 8k tv shop 😎future of VR is very bright

@@McWookieVR nothing to do with the quality settings. I need to download a full bitrate 8k 180 or 360 video to see what it should look like and then I can understand how much youtube compresses the video

Spatial app looks great, but unless Im mistaken the apps it shows are other web pages presented as single windows. (Its cool though), would you know if you can expand the windows to the size of a wall, or if you can view 3d content in the youtube app? I would consider buying it if it could.

You CAN remove the white boxes in Forest. It's with the A button I think (the controller instructions say Show/hide view boxes).

I can really recommend grip straps. I noticed you still use the wrist chords. I hate it when they dangle about after you release them. With straps, it feels a little bit more lke the Valve Index. The controllers just stay in place. Anyway, great video.

@@HotshotTek I have ones that are encovering the entire controller made of silicon (AIPINQI), so I have some additional shock reduction but ultimately, I have to remove them in order to change the batteries. But there are also versions that just replace the original battery lid like those by AMVR.

Low tide would be nice. I walk out to it many times.

How do you actually save the video from youtube to your headset ? I would like to save some to show people at a convention where I won't have any internet connection !

i have no idea why but my passthrough looks nothing like that, its very distorted and laggy with strange colors idk if its just the video or sum but

Sorry but you can most definitely connect your meta 3 to a pc, and if your pc is decent powerful it increases everything about it including images

Use the "KZread VR" app and not KZread through a browser window. If you already did that then maybe do a Google search on the issue.

I have both, I can't recommend it over the quest 3 either tbh. Better off getting a used gaming PC/quest 3 for the best of both worlds.

@@shaneg8029I had the psvr1 and was not that impressed was tethered to console. Was tough to get the sweet spot to see well. Misting on lenses too. Cool for exclusives though. Love my meta quest 3 and excited for the future of VR. Next purchase is a gaming laptop to hook up to quest 3 . Really like the look of fallout 4 in VR

Into The Radius is not a DayZ type game. It's a STALKER type game.

honestly all i get from my quest 3 is just a blurry mess even in stand alone mode. i just don’t get what all the others are experiencing. i use my quest 3 solely for sim racing. I can only get three racing sim runs with clarity and acceptable performance - namely iracing , F1 22 and automobilista 2. but if you are used to 4K gaming, be prepared for a downgrade. ACC is ok but struggles with clarity and performance Le Mans Ultimate looks like it’s rendering @ 480p, F1 23 is a blurry mess when you are in the cockpit mode. Rather than spending time enjoying the game, i spent 90% mucking around with settings it’s just not worth the hassle. unless the game developer optimised their game for PCVR, i wouldn’t bother, it just a wasting time. tried every suggestion under the sun optimising the headset for pcvr. PCVR really smashed my PC rig and i have an amazing setup (7800x3d and 4090).
