The sound of the Pipes has been heard any a place a Scottish Soldier has set foot in. They sounded through Flanders, Portugal and Spain. They sounded when we took Mount Tumbledown. They'll always keep sounding. Even now, In Britain's desperate hour.

How did you get rid of the backround humming? I'm planning on getting bagpipes but that seems to be the one thing holding me from getting them

@@alistairbrown-ayrshirebagp4493 Yes, everytime I hear someone (other than you) play, it makes this secondary sound, it's the same sound as the sound being played but at a fixed pitch, but very good job on the bagpipes

Those are probably the sound of the 3 drones you are hearing. They are an integral part of the instrument and it's sound. I have the drones playing on the track, but you may find your ear is not drawn to the sound because of the elements in the backing track? Thank you again for listening, and I hope you enjoyed it.

Do you think you can put it on sheet music? I wish I could watch a video and get the jist of the song but I definitely need the notes in front of me🤣

Slow the video Down and just watch him play over and over you will pick it’s up it’s very simple, there not a lot of movements or anything in it it mainly r just straight notes

Thanks for asking but as battaliance suggests try slowing the video down. If it helps, keep a piece of paper to hand and now down the notes you see me play. It is very straightforward. Training your ear so you can pick tunes up without sheet music is a great skill to develop. All the best with it.

Hi, can you please share the sheet music for my 10yrs old. He loves bagpipe and want to learn this tune. You played it really well but it might be hard for a beginner to extract the sheet music.
