they had some mistakes ex: the girl didnt land her tumbling pass properly so she couldnt do the basket earlier

Maybe I’m outta the loop but I thought this was amazing! The level of skill set with the tumbling and they were very tight and clean. I can see what people are saying about a little rushed but it was still amazing. And I love the theme. So 👏🏽👏🏽

I’m telling you if they would of hit like they did at showcase. It would have been over for everyone

They just need to slow down, they’re rushing everything. They probably just got nervous that’s all.

Lexi Hardin I’m on a Allstar cheer team too and they may not be rushing but they are doing a lot only in the beginning which causes then to get tired faster

That's the very first thing I said! Back in my day (without revealing exactly how long ago that was lol) when I remember us (Gymtyme) going up against them, their look was just like any other team's uniform, but I love that they're really embracing the whole "Top Gun" theme! It's unique to them, they're the only team who can stand out like that and it definitely sets them apart. Very cool idea!

all of their stunts are so creative and usually are executed well 🤩

I loveTGLC with all my heart but this looked a mess, tbh it was hard to watch. Looks rushed and a lack of energy between the athletes. Breathe, think about what you’re doing and believe in the people next to you, day 2 is a mental game go out there an win it!

Chloe Michels I’m not a cheerleader but I love the concept of this routine. For it was hard to watch because the back drop was dark and so was their uniforms. It was hard to pay attention to detail because you couldnt is pay attention at all because so much is happening. Maybe I just have bad eye sight lol!

MsCrystalclear23 they don’t perform two different routines it’s just to give the teams a second chance if they messed up I think and they add up the scores so it’s the same routine they just perform it two times

With a few bits cleaned up - this would’ve looked off the scale at worlds ! I so hope they bring it back for next worlds ! ❤️

Wow. This is like dance, gymnastics and aerobics combined. So much energy. Well done folks. I love it

i love them and i think this was just an off weekend for them. they’ve been hitting quite often and had been undefeated up until this point. if they hit nobody can beat them, they had the highest difficulty scores out of all the large coed teams and the highest raw day 1.

i remember seeing this live and I loved every second of it

any mistakes they’ve made, happen to every team all the time. they have the rep of being near perfect but we need to remember how totally common they were, how they performed as smart cheerleaders, and how they didn’t give up anything at all, they kept going. good communication. most teams would’ve lost a lot of their energy and made THAT face, or let it drop

I love top gun just as much as the next person but sometimes I do think the themes and uniforms are a distraction. Just my humble opinion. I know they will get better by worlds

There uniforms are rlly different then to your normal cheer uniforms i think it’s cool how they switch it up but I agree with you I don’t think there a distraction but we all know cheer uniforms are rlly expensive so for like the army theme was a little bit werid bc your use to seeing yk like bling and stuff but it looked like plain

This was so amazing I see what y'all are saying in the comments about how they're rushing but the overall performance was outstanding and it really was the most intricate one i've ever seen

the standing tumbling parts were SO SYNC I CANT AKSJSLKF

Their stunting section needs some work. I also think the music is lacking. Maybe just keep the military music for a little bit in the beginning and switch it up. It seems to be lagging and not keeping the energy up.

I’ve been cheering for 2 going on 3 years. It’s not a lot but something I have realized is most of the themed routines are not a good routine for big teams like this. I’m not sure what it is but there are some really good ones out there. I’m not saying all of them are bad but it’s just something I realized

Too bad there is no worlds this year 😭

As a former TG back in 2010 they are really struggling with cleanliness and sharpness, the difficulty is amazing and theyve finally brought what I know they can but i'm so disappointed at how frenzied theyve looked the last few years... more time focusing on HITTING and cleaning it up rather than rushing through counts. We all have bad days, but this was a let down for sure. I expected more.

Did they dropped the spirit stick?

They've done so much better other times. I'm guessing it's just nerves,and I can understand that. Also, I really love their uniforms but I feel like the dark green kinda makes them less visible on the mat.

As someone whos father was in the real top gun and wore a flight suit during his entire career and especially in desert storm, these uniforms are not okay.I respect the cheer program, as I used to participate and would eventually coach in competitive cheer. Y’all are amazing, there’s no doubt ....but come on guys. Think for a second. It takes years to earn a flight suit. It’s hard not to think this is making light of it.

Oh they are not wild is on SOLC (senior open large coed 6) and TGLC is in SLC (senior large coed 6)

They must put in some amount of effort to get that right!

its a bit rushed.. but overall amazing performance!

I mean, they had an off day. But see that stunt fall? I got really nervous when the flyer was shaking a bit. a new a stunt fall was going to occur in this. They did good though! They fell, and got right back up and acted as if nothing had happened.

With the amount of mistakes in this routine idk if the arena would have been able to survive a tglc hit. It would have been so sickening and so freaking loud 😫

Everything looks so rushed. Before moving onto the next they need to finish what theyve started because so many things look incomplete. Love the uniform and concept though
