You put this fight ahead of the "Thrilla in Manila"? Come on now.

@@therumbleinthejunglee, no, it isn't because Ron Lyle was not a great fighter, was never a champion. When ranking these bouts, you have to take into account: (1) who was fighting; and (2) what were they fighting for. Ali and Frazier were all time greats, fighting for the title. The "Thrilla in Manila" is the greatest heavyweight championship fight of all time, period.

@@henry-bo3np Lol so if you don't become champion then you aren't a great fighter? Ron Lyle would of beat Joe Frazier if they fought. Joe Frazier won the title against Jimmy Ellis I believe. Ron Lyle would of beat Jimmy Ellis as well. Second this fight was far more exciting the the "Thrilla in Manilla" 3rd the Riddick Bowe vs Evander Holyfield was a more exciting fighter than The Thrilla in Manilla, even the Ken Norton vs Larry Holmes fight was more exciting than the Thrilla in Manila 4th this is why little kids like you should stick to playing with your toys and watching cartoons.

@@googlemyself4091, yes, to be a great fighter you must be a champion. What a concept! I'm glad that you think that Ron Lyle would have done this or that. But the fact is that he didn't.

@@henry-bo3np Lol so based off that logic than Andy Ruiz and Charles Martin are great fighters. Winning belt doesn't make you a great fighter little kid. Like I said go play with your GI Joe toys and stop pretending you know a thing about boxing.
