Hi, I'm Charles, and I'm here to show you how easy it is to set up a top fin aquarium. This particular kit includes the following products, all designed to help keep your fish happy and healthy. So let's get started. First, place the tank on a sturdy, level surface near an outlet. This tank requires three outlets, so you may want to use a power strip. Then using plain tap water, thoroughly rinse the aquarium and all its components. To begin assembly, push down on the bubble wall feature to ensure that it is securely in place at the back of the tank. Make sure that the pre-attached tubing is tightly fastened to the bubble wall and U-shaped connector. Also, check that the accessory connector is plugged. Connect the airline tubing to the included check valve so the airflow arrow is pointing towards the tank. Lastly, use the short length of the tubing to connect the system to the provided air pump. And every tank needs some basic accessorizing, so add gravel and a few decorative items because your fish will need decor and plants to rest in and interact with. To assemble the filter, place the filter in the back right corner of the tank. Then insert the divider and insert the filter cartridge. Then place the ceramic rings in the housing. Next, connect the bubble wall and overhead lights to the split lighting adapter. Then connect the adapter to the wall plug. And be sure to leave everything unplugged while the tank is dry. Next, fill the tank with room temperature water. And don't forget to add water to the filter housing. A power filter requires priming to function properly. At this stage, you'll also want to add Topfin Aquarium water conditioner. Plug in the power cords, leaving enough slack to create a drip loop for each cord to avoid a shock hazard. Most Topfin filters will turn on automatically when plugged in. Finally, ensure the lid is seated correctly. Now go ahead and turn on the multicolor LEDs. Choose from seven colors or enjoy all of them by selecting auto cycle mode. Be sure to follow the product directions and you'll want to talk to an associate to learn the proper method for acclimating your new aquatic pets. You'll also want to add Topfin's Ready Start Nitrifying Bacteria Starter to speed up the cycling process. Your pet friends will love you for it.

Hi, there. There should be a button you can click on the cord that changes the light colors.
Can you put gravel on top of the bubble wall to hide it? Will the bubbles still function fine aside from maybe not the lights? I'd like to hide it. Please also what is the filter name that comes with this? I need to know size of cartridge for it. Pls dont say refer to manual it doesn't say

Hi there. Unfortunately, we do not know if placing gravel on top of the bubble wall will cause it to stop functioning. We do not recommend this. The 10 gallon bubble wall tank filter uses the Top Fin Silenstream PF-S filter cartridge and the 20 and 37 gallon bubble wall tank filters use the Top Fin Silenstream PF-L filter cartridge.

Yes and no. Mine operates fine with fluval plant substrate on top but in time, the little bits can stuck in the grooves and some of the air holes kinda clog up. You can remove them but it means in a few months. The air bubbles are minimized till you clean it. It also minimizes the light. I wouldn't recommend it but should be fine if that's what you choose to do.
What filter does it use, ive been trying to replace it but have no idea whoch filter it is

There is Nothing in the manual to adjust flow rate. Mine has gone from running fast to running slow on its own . I can not figure out what the problem is . Please help! I have changed to cartridge and that didn’t help.
