TOP FASHION BRANDS WORTH THE MONEY | LOOKBOOK
Good quality doesn’t always have to be expensive but sometimes you may have to pay a bit more to get something a bit more special. In today’s video, I wanted to talk about some of my favourite brands that are on the more expensive side but produce some pretty special stuff.
These brands helped me develop my style and took my interest in fashion to the next level. They helped teach me to buy less and buy well, and I feel proud of all the pieces I own from them. I still get excited to wear the items from them that I’ve had for years and find myself reaching for these items time and time again over other pieces in my wardrobe. So even though the pieces from these brands cost more initially, the amount of wear and joy I get from them justifies the extra cost for me. The brands on this list all make very good quality products that’ll last you for years, so if you haven’t tried them for yourselves, I can’t recommend them enough.

I love the esthetics of Ami and Thom Browne. On a side note, why don’t you do a video on how you take care of your clothes for longevity?
@HarryHas

Thom Browne is great but definitely out of my price range. I don’t do anything special I’m afraid so not sure I could make a video on it. I have some videos with tips on what I do though already on the channel. 👍
My three favorite brands are: Acne Studios, John Elliot, and Reigning Champ. I mostly buy quality basics and shop these three brands when they’re on sale.

An updated 2023 version of this video or of up and coming / low key brands would be amazing. Even a video describing how you style has evolved. New things that you are into. Stuff you don’t wear any more 👊🏼
This is exactly what I need to build my wardrobe! Thanks, I'll look into these companies!

Perfect, I will just add the comme des garçons, I love the basic black Tshirt with small heart patch
Thank you for introducing me to Drole De Monsieur. For basic, I like APC or Norse Projects. For statement pieces, I think Acne or AMI are my comfort zone. They are all investment pieces but I think it’s worth it if you don’t buy much clothes every season.

Great video. I am all about quality. I feel happy when I wear good clothing. My Mum and Dad had suiting shops while growing up , so I know my fabrics since I spent a chunk of my childhood at the shop 😭. Sadly most brands are absolute trash now. Great video again. Keep em coming.

i really want to get some pieces from AMI but i dont know what size to get. I usually wear a size Large because i like my clothes to have a little bit more of an oversize fit, but in some stores like Uniqlo or COS i wear an M and get that oversize fit just fine. Should i stay true to size with AMI or should i also size up to a Large?
@HarryHas
2 жыл бұрын
I’m sorry to confuse you even more but it depends on the item from AMI. Some are designed to fit smaller and some more relaxed. I’d go from the size charts and images of the models with the clothes on and go from there. You can always send items back if you try it and it doesn’t fit and exchange it for another size.
Very nice video. Quality is definitely important. Do you know of any brands that go the extra mile and focus on sustainability and fair trade, while maintaining good quality AND are stylish?

No Luxury Clothing Company is Worth the money lmao. I know a fabrics Shop in my City thats selling Not used fabrics from almost All luxury Brands that you can think of (Prada, Gucci, Ami, Marni, Burberry, Brioni etc. etc.) and the prices on the fabrics are always a small fraction of the piece price (1/40). Amy Leona Doorframe is literally copying AMI, GAP, J.Crew, BR... they're nothing fancy!
ALD is overpriced, more and more of pieces are made in China, and quality is variable, finishing is kind of meh. I don't regret my ALD x Woolrich scarf, and my ALD beenie. I have a waffle sweat I love just the finishing is not looking premium and I have a jumper and honestly feels like you could find it for 50£ if it wasn't a ALD piece (Can't compare in quality/finishing with a PAtta or Afew Good piece for 1/3 of the price).
Sorry I will never wear anything called Acne.. just no, I dont need a reminder of my pubescent years. That Drole brand has some dope items though yummy
None of these brands make clothes that will outlive the seasonal fads they chase. You will look dated in 3 years from now with these clothes, especially the wacky pants that make you look like you’re 20 but wearing your 10 year old brother’s pants.
