TOP FASHION BRANDS WORTH THE MONEY | LOOKBOOK

Good quality doesn’t always have to be expensive but sometimes you may have to pay a bit more to get something a bit more special. In today’s video, I wanted to talk about some of my favourite brands that are on the more expensive side but produce some pretty special stuff.
These brands helped me develop my style and took my interest in fashion to the next level. They helped teach me to buy less and buy well, and I feel proud of all the pieces I own from them. I still get excited to wear the items from them that I’ve had for years and find myself reaching for these items time and time again over other pieces in my wardrobe. So even though the pieces from these brands cost more initially, the amount of wear and joy I get from them justifies the extra cost for me. The brands on this list all make very good quality products that’ll last you for years, so if you haven’t tried them for yourselves, I can’t recommend them enough.

I usually wear a size Large because i like my clothes to have a little bit more of an oversize fit, but in some stores like Uniqlo or COS i wear an M and get that oversize fit just fine. Should i stay true to size with AMI or should i also size up to a Large?

  • @HarryHas

I’m sorry to confuse you even more but it depends on the item from AMI. Some are designed to fit smaller and some more relaxed. I’d go from the size charts and images of the models with the clothes on and go from there. You can always send items back if you try it and it doesn’t fit and exchange it for another size.

Hmmm I’d say they started off as a mix between Scandi fashion and French fashion and they still look very French to me. They may have some pieces that have similarities to Japanese streetwear but what doesn’t these days.

No Luxury Clothing Company is Worth the money lmao. I know a fabrics Shop in my City thats selling Not used fabrics from almost All luxury Brands that you can think of (Prada, Gucci, Ami, Marni, Burberry, Brioni etc. etc.) and the prices on the fabrics are always a small fraction of the piece price (1/40). The fabrics are still expensive but when u See the original piece prices its just mindblowing.

ALD is overpriced, more and more of pieces are made in China, and quality is variable, finishing is kind of meh. I don't regret my ALD x Woolrich scarf, and my ALD beenie. I have a waffle sweat I love just the finishing is not looking premium and I have a jumper and honestly feels like you could find it for 50£ if it wasn't a ALD piece (Can't compare in quality/finishing with a PAtta or Afew Good piece for 1/3 of the price).

None of these brands make clothes that will outlive the seasonal fads they chase. You will look dated in 3 years from now with these clothes, especially the wacky pants that make you look like you’re 20 but wearing your 10 year old brother’s pants.
