Omg ! Excited to hear your future episodes on inspectors, etc. I wrote down two pages of notes on this FAQ about new home builds. Such valuable info. I feel like when we pull the trigger on building, I am going to be super informed and ready for it !

You definitely need a realtor with new construction as well as your own inspector
Zak is it realistic to ask the builder to cover CDD fees for the 1st year? If so how do you go about doing it?
If a 3rd party inspector finds major structural flaws on already built inventory homes will the builder repair them?

Depends on the builder and how major they are. There have been times that I have seen those things repaired and other times where they disagreeded and they didnt repair them and allowed the client to walk away from the contract.
USDA is going to land me money for the construction of my house. What happen if I or my spouse died and we are still paying the loan?

The loan would still be due. You can get insurance policies that cover the mortgage
