That scene hit me hard. He was my favorite character. I dont know why but for some reason characters who are only able to say 1 word or characters that rarely speak are always so funny to me. RIP Hodor

So glad to see Davos at 10, easily my favorite character next to the Hound. Just a pure soul in a black world, always honorable, always kind, never liked fighting. The scene where he confronts Melissandre about Shireen always gives me chills.

A rare combination in GOT - a man who was both compassionate and streetsmart/practical. He should have become king or at least inherited Highgarden instead of Bronn (though in the books, there are enough Tyrells and their relatives to inherit even if Margaery and Loras both die).

Arya after season 4 was probably the most bland and boring charachter. She was actually one of my favourites. She had such a witty and lively and rebellious personality with alot of resolve but after season 4 she's just a bland fan service charachter that's only there to do hype stuff. Also, auch wenn man über die letzte Staffel wahrlich diskutieren und negativ bewerten darf, so ist das Gesamt-Konstrukt von Game of Thrones als Serie meiner Meinung nach immer noch der Inbegriff einer VERDAMMT GUTEN SERIE! Margaery coming 11th makes me so happy. One of the best characters in the show and someone who clearly knew what she was doing in terms of playing the game. Even if she was only carrying out Ollena's plans, the way she was able to masterfully win the confidence of Renly, Joffrey and Tommen was great. If it wasn't for Cersie, I truly believe Margaery could have been one of the strongest players.

The show portrayed quite a bit of characters poorly but what can you do with so many characters and such little screen time for some. Maybe if they planned to push the story more for the show then things would be different but yeah I was also disappointed with his portrayal because it was nice for the Greyjoy’s to finally be relevant again in the show.

In the series, especially in the last seasons he is probably the simplest character of all. In the books its quite complex, it started with an honorfull character like ned, but after he goes north of the wall everything he think he knows became a question. All his plotline made him realise that honor is not the way, so he unsderstands that he cannot be like his father.

Ned Stark have appeared only in 9 episodes still he is in top 6

What an amazing set of stories. I wish I could read them all again for the first time...Just the absolute most realistic characters of all time. People are sick F***s especially when they have money or power, or want money and power. George RR Martin displayed that perfectly. The casting was absolute genius as well, best ever.

If we were going off acting abilities Charles dance would definitely be in the top 10. He played Tywin phenomenally

Samwell Tarly is the most boring character

I have 3 fav characters Tyrion Arya and Daenerys. Since S1E1 I love those 3 and I still love them.

The fact Tommen‘s cat got more votes than him is hilarious to me 😂 also the fact that Pod got less love than both Little Finger & Cersei seems wrong to me…

Damn I didn't knew that many people liked Brienne of tarth 😳 so glad she made it into top 20 she deserves the attention 💪

His just one scene is enough too defeat the queen "hold the door ,hold door , hodor " i cried that scene

Out of these 103 main characters of the show, only 23 of them live to the very end (or, they are never seen dying onscreen by the series end). A few of those 23 are animals like Nymeria, Ghost, ser Pounce and Drogon. Some of them are characters who just never appeared again like Daario and Salazar Sand. All in All, this show's story really is a tragedy with the vast majority of the characters being killed off

pretty good vid made me want to watch GoT all over again um.. one thing though.. #27 is wrong, Lyanna Mormont is not a woman of the freefolk living north of the wall, she's Lady of the house Mormont. maybe the description was an accidental duplicate entry after Ygritte

I love the description for Eddard Stark, "The head of house Stark." Perfectly descriptive, on soooooo many levels :-)

Jon is like one of the least complex and least interesting characters in GOT. The only thing that made him interesting to fans was the fact that he’s a targeryan. Just a Ned 2.0. Not an unique character

It's actually incredible how well these actors portray their characters. It's like if you read about them in your history books then they all magically came to life and did a movie as themselves.

I'm definitely in the ranks for the Dragons. It's hard to say which dragon is my favorite though. If I could only choose one I would say drogon

No matter what anyone says. Jon snow or Daegon Targereon is the best character ever in history of television. The way he brought his sword out in battle of bastards gave goosepumps. His character development was top notch till season 7.

Check out Talking Thrones YT channel. He's creating his own season 9 and it's bloody good. Helps explain S8 and is tying loose ends. He's not done but so far those of us following can't wait for the next episode. Dany and Jon's destiny as yet to be fulfilled and we learn Bran warged into Dany when she burnt the city. It makes me feel better about that horrid S8.

Im actually suprised that Bronn managed to get this high in the top. Not that I hated the character, just simply didnt expect it. And Ned beign top 10 despite he died in season one is absolutely wholesome.

Jaqen needed to be higher on this list. He was such a unique, enigmatic character. Olenna is easily in my Top 10 too: absolute BOSS of a character who went out like the boss she was.
