Top Corner Table Hockey: How to be a better player

As a long time rod hockey player with years of experience I'm ready to show you some little pointers to improve your game, or at the very least show you some footage a top corner hockey table to bring back memories for you.
Pretty solid table hockey game, had it for quite a few years, couple players can't shoot anymore but other than that, it still works!

My best friend had Top Corner Hockey, I had Powerplay Hockey 2. Good childhood memories.
One of my favorite toys as a kid!

Legendary video thanks for sharing. I'd been looking for Top Corner for years and found one curbside in my neighbourhood recently. Only half the players twist to shoot but excited to get it fired up
Well done video. This is my favorite game ever! I have a box of spare players and parts and even a unit unboxed !! Thanks for the tips. Can rarely win a game against my youngest teen.

Hey right on, these top corner games are hard to come by these days, cherish that thing. Glad you enjoyed the tips, hope you start chalking up some wins, just take a few days off work and practice those one-timers!

Hi - I bought one of these used. Some of the players can’t do the slap shot anymore. Any idea how to fix?

You need to pop the red handle off of the end of the rod and take the screw out of the player's chest. You can then tie Fishing Line in place of the broken plastic cable and re-assemble.
great game! wish I knew where to find replacement parts or some way to try and fix them

Ive never played one where you can push a button for the shot
Looking to buy replacement parts for this. Does anyone have this?
What the. I had this but my goalie couldn't shoot. Different version I guess.
I think my roommates and I single handedly put Top Corner out of business...we broke so many players while trying to make the playoffs...the company ran out of spare parts in the late 90's!
How would you get the puck holder to raise his stick back for a Slap Shot? I apparently missed something in the Instruction Manual. That, or this "man" needs a tutorial on Hockey.

The stick does come up when you pull the rod, yes it is the follow through of a wrist shot but I've had this game a long time and have seen people who are slowly struggling with the game try for a slap shot this way.

I have one I am thinking of selling. I am amazed at the intricacy of the push rod mechanisms. One of the cable cords is broken so the player does not slap shoot. My email is tedk2ohio@yahoo.com
