The Moroccan villa was a terrific surprise. The style could have gone so wrong (in a Disneyesque way) but the designer pulled it off beautifully.

WOW, that car what a bargain 👌 👏 🙌 😍
Damn, that Maroccan hotel felt like such a tranquil spot.. even just watching the tour of the place on video, I felt its calming effect.. That Aleenta BnB sure was a charmer as well. You've got a real gift for finding special spots it seems, or maybe it's just that the whole area you're in is all that charming? Great video as always. Looking forward to the next one.

What a wonderful video, I love how you go whichever way the next thing to see takes you. That is how great discoveries and hidden gems are found. Never been to this part of Thailand but your videos make me want to get out of my comfort zone and go spend a few nights there.
Great video. The SUV is a sweet deal in Thailand. My buddy and I (2 fellow Canucks) are riding south from Chiang Mai to Malaysia down the coast. Your info is very helpful.
Nice cruise down the coast in your new wheels, congrats, that's a great deal on it. The Villa Maroc looks great.
Pranburi has changed a lot 25 years ago, there was almost no resort or anything. It is a small fishing village just beginning to have some resorts. Especially the Moroccan-style resort that has just begun to be completed.

Enjoy your videos. Im in Hua Hin and have been to Sam Roi Yot but never just rode all the way down that coast. Which area would you think would be best for walking or riding bicycle along the beach? Beach paths? Thanks
@SideTripLife
Жыл бұрын
Hi David. From HH perhaps cycle the route via Takiab Village, swing up to #4 hiway but then take the cycle path down to Khao Tao, then left to Pranburi Beach, then you've got a promenade all the way to Khao Kalok and then of course the promenade at Dolphin Bay/Sam Roi Yot Beach. That's a perfect cycling route with many places to stop, enjoy and refresh along the way.
thumbs up
Hondas of that time period last forever if they are taken care of. I have had several. Congrats!
2nd hand cars in Thailand I find are expensive compared to 2nd hand in Australia. You got a good deal!
Great deal on the car! You find on FB marketplace?
Good one, as usual! These videos on the islands are of particular interest to me. I want to know the best ones for me. Not party islands or completely remote. I like a few neighbors around. If a little place on the side of the road has a dozen tables & only 4 are occupied, that's the place for me! Perfect. I see places for $150.-200. a month, love it! Keep 'em comin'! You may very well provide me with the place I'm looking for. 👍🇹🇭🏝️ Who's living better than you? That's a rhetorical question.😊
What a budget Honda auto ! Better than a motorbike. Did you buy it from a particular or a car dealer ? 90's Honda cars are so reliable. Hope you share the end of the adventure with the Honda in order to check the costs from A to Z.

@@WilliamFluery Have you tried living on a tropical beach? Everyone thinks they want that initially, because it looks nice and is a contrast from the life they have now. After a few months on the beach, the lifestyle fades in attraction and practicality.
Just found this channel and watched several videos. Really like the format, super informative and nicely paced. I also appreciate the screen-caps of the websites you used, for example to buy your car or (in other videos) to find real-estate properties. But I noticed you crop the images so we can't see what website it is. Is there a legal reason for this? Just seems since your whole theme is about offering helpful information, it would be pretty helpful to know the websites too? There's a lot of "rip-off" websites aimed specifically at foreigners so an insider tip on the sites you trust would be really helpful. Thank you.

Hi, have had a Thai DL for ages but fairly easy to get one, take your home DL to DLT office here (and/or take the test). License plate was on the car, simply transferred it over. Got a letter from immigration stating my address here then showed that plus car blue book plus signed seller transfer papers and had it all transferred to my name. Note HUGE caution: found car on Facebook but asked the Thai chap to meet me at a mechanic to check it out then come with me to DLT. He agreed to both, thus passed muster as did the car thankfully. I got lucky. Hope the above helps. STL
