This gives me an idea for a Pokemon fangame where instead of capturing the Pokes and making them fight your battles for you, you STEAL THEIR ENERGY via energy capsules (This world's version of pokeballs) and make WEAPONS out of it to fight your own battles with like a MA-YAN! You would still have the option of taming a SINGLE Pokemon and keeping it as a pet and potentially letting it fight alongside you, but this process would be much more complex as there are no pokeballs in this world.
