Wow 7th place, congratz! Nice list, I love the Dimension Shifter in the main a bold choice but given the current metta, I can see why you got 7th. I think I might try maining shifter myself. But I would cut the tourguide, you have too many normal summons. Just add more Dark Beckoning Beast and Opening, and even Piri Reis map to search them, it's the only normal summon you need imo.

I actually said this to a teammate after uploading it. I think Panda was experimenting ideas and I get the unchained commitment. It’s one of those test and see things. Consistency vs versatility maybe ?

Real nice to see another yubel player work it, I took it to my regionals 2 days after release, got 29th with it. I think in this format the shifter variant definitely works out well (clearly), but losing the samsaras can be a bit painful. Mature Chronicle (the one Chris mentioned as a win more card) can also take cards back that are banished for 2 counters, which includes face-down cards. We still have a lot of kashtira over here, so it definitely comes up more than you'd think, especially when running a shifter build. The LEDE support will net you a super poly search without even trying, so it's probably a guaranteed add later on. I'm about to try a horus engine with the deck, as sarco helps you deal with the brick cards you need to run for the yubel engine, and it also is a continous so you can re-cycle it with spirit gates. Can't wait to see any future renditions of the deck, so glad to see it get some love after about 15 years!

Geistgrinder golem is searchable with Nightmare Pain. it is mostly just a side deck option and wouldn't really recommend main decking that card since it's mostly just to enable OTK's if your opponent doesn't commit big enough bodies against you. Main decking shifter was definitely a consideration for me as well. I have Nibiru over shifter currently but shifter most likely will be a main deck post legacy of destruction due to the new field spell letting you still play under it. I do like the experimentation of playing both the sacred beast and Tourguide package. are they considering cutting or keeping the tourgide package in favor of other techs/hand traps? probably Pot of Prosperity over something like piri reis map. I wish most of my locals didn't go to this regional so I could actually test my deck since they are very meta oriented. it felt weird playing against blue-eyes, dark magician and zarc since yubel just bodies those decks even if they don't put up a high attack monster.

genuinely great profile. i was theorising to myself literally 30 minutes ago about how nuts shifter is in this deck and then lo and behold! congrats on 7th, glad to see the new support is actually amazing. cant wait to play. i think the only thing id suggest is to cut Starving Venom for Earth Golem @ignister, cos it's materials are a Link + Cyberse so Spoly just eats the Snake Eye endboard more than it already does

Would love to see/hear what combos you do when going first/second, what you link into and when, do you play around nibiru at all etc

ive started to experiment with the wicked eraser, popping it with nightmare pain to nuke the field and then go from there. still working on it, depending on the deck summoning curse can be an ok side option its just slow and you have to have the perfect match up for it.

This man gonna throw that new lvl 10 xyz coming out in lede....its so crazy good. Super dragon if the final commandant valdras

the only monster that deals double damage, from what i can find in online rulings for tcg, is ultimate nigtmare and the fusion when attacking while nightmare pain is up or when attacking geist golem. it doesnt apply to every yubel iteration. not sure if thats what he said/meant but maybe i missed it.

Very hard to make this a 40 card deck. I basically when this came out I was thinking lair of darkness build until someone mentioned it to me a different way. I then saw another video with panda explaining this - I then made it my self all tho I run the other two cards he mentioned I have it at 51. Ppl think I’m crazy running decks at 60 but it’s hard to have a deck that works. I think it’s my second deck that is below 60 - my other being Saladmangreat. So far I have had a win and draw with it at my locals. If I get money I might take it to regionals but cost these days is ridiculous. My side is 3 Kaju (Water, Fire, and dark) 1 Pankratops , 1 summon limit , 3 Ghost bell , 2 lighting storm , 2 imperm, 3 dark ruler no more My extra is mostly the same but different links 2 Yubel, 1 Starvling venom fusion dragon 1 mud dragon of swamp, 1 Garuda wings of resonant life, 1 Dragostapelia , 1 mekk night crusadua avramax , 1 Bls Solider of Chaos, 1, Gustav max, 1 Knightmere unicorn, 1 Baba barber, 1 Sorcerer of Sebek, 1 Firewall dragon , 1 Ip Masquerena, 1 Dark Charmer Gloomy. Was debating to put Underworld Goddess in, or Firewall dragon darkfuild neo tempest teraherz Might change to unchained link if I get them. Btw tell Panda he started a trend lol

you basically play yubel control. the whole yubel combo works under shifter.

You use tour guide to get rhino and to link rhino into Yama - so you can start the unchained line

Once LOD comes out this is gonna be a high ceiling deck. You can end on 4 omni negates or Crimson Dragon to go calamity on your opponent's turn.
