An entire video on red lipstick!!! ♥ I loved the Lakme one among the alternatives to MVP. My all time favourite red lipstick is the one from Sephora - Always Red (lip creme/ stain). Do you think Butter London Soft Matte Lip Cream Red - Bossy Boots will be similar to Fenty's MVP?

Fenty is part owned by LMVH. You dont need to add to their coffers or Rihanna's coffers. Its very tricky of them to market it to india with 3/4 billion women waiting for a woder range. The colours, undertones and textures are for black not indian skin. Yes indians and blacks have hiigher melanin content but thats where it ends. Support local. And an indian can team up with a mighty french or Italian label to market to indians and others , so as to use their brand visibility. Marketing just to indians ? no need for any of that hoopla. Buy indian. Support local.

It's about competition It's good to go local But one cannot blindly buy local products in the name of patriotism Local products need to evolve We have the capacity to bring out shades that are brown girl friendly But if the market doesn't adapt and bring out good products then obviously international brands will take over The consumer has no responsibility of promoting Indian products if they are getting " fair and lovely " as a result Buy local , but who buys local Indian made phones?

Lisa Eldridge in Velvet ribbon is a great shade too! And its comparatively long lasting. The bullets break quite easily though and for the amount we pay its heartbreaking 😢. Violette's amour fou is an amazing shade! It needs so much focus to apply though 😂. The white cap has red fingerprints and smears from the mess it can make XD

After Fenty lipstick started going viral I really felt a bad case of FOMO. Thanks God for your review which really helped to bust all the hype around it. I think people are going gaga over it because of not only it's a beautiful red shade but also how it looks on camera besides the fact the Rihanna wore it! Nevertheless your suggestions for red lippies will help many of us for sure. I'm shocked to see how the Lakme one looks so similar to the Fenty lipstick. And the Violette lipstick....good heavens that lipstick is PERFECTION 😭 And, yes please give us some stellar suggestions for nude shades as well brown ones (cool and warm both undertones)!

Mvp is a one swipe lipstick Just try it that way don't apply too much just a tiniest dot and see it might work that way and if not then set it with translucent powder passing through tissue
