Davit's final pin was a spiritual experience. That was armwrestling in its full glory

Yes, it made me happy, even though I never watched any of those two arm wrestle before
Levan realized first round that simply cupping in is not a option, so next rounds he focused through his riser and pronation, which combined with his enormous back pressure was able to rise above and pin Devon even if Devon flattened his wrist, I think Devon focused way too much on cracking levans wrist but forgot that levans elbow flexion and rise is extremely strong

@EastsideArmWrestling Dont agree with your assessment. Levan said in the interview with Coach Ray that he was TESTING his wrist the first round.

Lol yeah he was showboating hard after that win. For some reason I don’t hold it against him though, he’s made himself a bit of a meme

He’s definitely a very polarizing character. Either love or hate him. You could see that cockiness after the first round stop he got against Artur.

I love Mindi! His heel character showboating is one of the things that makes him so likeable, I was sad he lost to Artur but glad to see Artur get a huge win after a couple of years of some lesser performances. But that just shows that Alan Zoloev is the best at 75 kg by far I think he will destroy Daniel at AMC.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Definitely my favorite armwrestling related content creator currently. Cheers mate it was a great event.

Thanks buddy, it was such an overwhelming experience, I just wanted to spill all my initial thoughts while the impression was still fresh on my mind. So many highlights and crazy moments!
Oniani shocked me given how long he's been inactive. I always knew he had insane potential (only guy to come even remotely close to stopping 2019 alizhan while looking like a skinny gym bro), but did not expect that level of dominance. I want to see him against someone like Zurab on lefty

Yeah it’s crazy after such a long time out of the limelight, he comes and does this crazy performance
Leonidas is the first guy respresenting Germany at that high level. Very proud about that 💪 Levan is a freaking monster.

So incredible how Leonidas handled his first match on EvW with such confidence and grace. I will be looking forward to more of his matches!
I agree with you 100% about Schoolboy and Leonadis! I think I overestimated schoolboy a little bit, but mostly I think I just underestimated Leonadis. He’s strong af! I’m interested to see how far he can go…. Also, I hope Ermes keeps pulling left handed! He’s still somewhere in the 5-10 range in the entire world imo so it’d be a shame if he gave up on pulling left…. Awesome recap dude!!!

Completely agree with your list. MMT's victory made me emotional, Samushia vs Aidarkhan was extatic, (that last pin was the first time I jumped from excitement watching an armwrestling match) and of course that first round of the main event, crazy.

Yeah, I can’t remember the last time I had been so invested into a match before! It was like an epic movie unfolding before our eyes 🤯
Agreed on Leonidas. Man worked in the dark and prepared in a 4-5 month time, real champ spirit. Seems his bodybuilding background works well for him, as nobody including schoolboy took him serious. Just listen to the Coach Ray's interview with schoolboy before the match, man's confidence was on the Devon level hahaha

No doubt he is a monster! It’s just that going into the match, I thought Minde had the tools to take advantage of his weakness in the wrist. I guess not.
I mean, I think if Levan pulls Ermes again, he's going to have a lot of problems.

You make an excellent point, these hand-based movements are so closely linked to one another that it’s not always a matter of opposing movement vs opposing movement
Larry Wheels was already a very good Armwrestler at US national level and Leonidas destroyed him. It didn't surprise me that with more training and the fact that Schoolboy only came back recently at high level, the German man would give him a run for his money. The win was still surprising tho. I didn't expect him to be stronger than Schoolboy

Levan was playing with Devon letting him get too much in grip up on purpose and trying to just hold him and dominate. He knew he had way more in the tank, anyone else in that situation would have been gassed out

He said he didn’t really feel too good in the wrist that round, “not warmed up” or something along those lines. Whatever the case may be, he still gave Devon kudos, and I think that means a lot
In the first round Levan said he was testing his wrist. He said it felt uncomfortable initially but after the first round there were no issues. I dont think Devon stopped Levan at all. It was more Levan using Devon as a test for the wrist which why it was a blowout afterwards.
