Phil’s portrait was probably the biggest eye-popping moment for me. What a fitting tribute!

3:30 Originally though Disney wanted the hotels to be themed by country origins. They were going to be located all around the "seven seas lagoon". I believed it was that way because of the emphasis on "world" in Disneyworld. They had planned a Persian hotel, an Asian hotel, Venetian and Mediterranean. Polynesian fit in there, but I like how they went with the hotels reflecting on the different lands since you can clearly see the Contemporary from Tomorrowland.

When you hear that iconic intro and get that iconic notification you know that ur day will become a Disney day!!! Also, I’m going to WDW in November and I’ve been here since 2018, learning about Disney history!! TYSM for the amazing content :)

I suggest checking out Na’vi River Journey in Animal Kingdom.

This channel is such a blessing. It's certainly been helping my family plan our Florida trip this December. We unfortunately won't be visiting Magic Kingdom, but learning all about the new rides and awesome secrets to find has us excited.

I guess when the shades of green used to be the “Disney Inn”, that was the FantasyLand themed resort, since it was designed to appear like a cottage. Which it still kinda does today, despite the military owning it

I had a feeling you were going to upload something about the 50th anniversary after it happened on Friday!

Secret hunting is by far my favourite part of Disneyland, after the rides of course.

Finally my favorite series is back! It's good see these videos again. I missed them!

I was a kid when I went to Disney in the seventies. I remember also the green shag carpet from the Contemporary hotel. Going to epcot it's first year was amazing as well.epcot

Studios had a “Back lot Tour” with Walt’s personal plane. The studios icon has changed a few times in less than 3 decades. I loved the Hat and wish it was still the Hat.

My favorite resort out of the ones you mentioned is Fort Wilderness. I like the rustic, camping feel and my family stayed at one of the cabins there for our Disney World trip. And I had gotten to pick out the resort to stay at, so that was cool.

i remember 1974 when i was stationed in Jacksonville. we didn't need ticket books because active military could get all day, all rides unlimited. i believe it was 20 or 25 dollars. being in the navy 20,000 leagues and haunted mansion and Mr. toads wild ride were our favorite. we stayed in the contemporary hotel which was my favorite hotel.
