Yes, the outsoles can be replaced Danner boots can be recrafted. You might talk to them.

How is salomon mens x braze gtx? Is it much different from the x-ultra 4 gtx and would you recommend them?

I wear 2 socks - inner crew athletic socks, outer hiking socks. I find that double layer socks helps prevent blisters. The thicker hiking socks provides cushioning and fills any sloppiness in the shoe fit. My shoe size is 10.5 “, and I have never had to buy a larger size to accommodate socks.

We missed it :(

I guess Gore-Tex is breathable compared to wearing a zip lock on your foot. In warm weather it is pointless in a low cut shoe .

I can't hike in anything Gore-Tex GTX here in Arizona, Way too hot on my feet...

the best under a $100.00 for me is Fila and Everest, all these best of on you tube vids all show the same shoes or boots......sound a little fishy to me...

The number one boot Danner fails to mention that they are not waterproof - CON - definitely.

For many (like myself) this is a pro. But they do come in a waterproof GTX version if you prefer.

I'm under the impression that the astronomically expensive full-synthetic Danners did win due to monetization... is this a marketing video or a review video?

Well, here every one of the boots are great for their own purpose. The reason for keeping those danners in the first position because they met our expectation more or less from every angle. Then again, this was our review based on our experience, which obviously varies from person to person.

W porządku!

These are all glorified tennis shoes. There is no real ankle support in any of these shoes. I'll just buy a low high quality boot.
