And some classics and really interesting unknown games are missing, such as the Romancing SaGa games, Rudra no Hihou, Wonder Project J, Treasure Hunter G, G.O.D., Granhistoria.

No, they were only broadcast in Japan with a "Broadcast Satellite" addon.

Lovuschka metal max returns too that's a great game
PLEASE, put the name of the games in the video!!!
Other videos on KZread not only mention the same old regular games, but they also mention the same so-called hidden gems. You're the first person that mentions so many good games that I actually haven't heard of before. Great job man.
@TheVergile

there are still more not mentioned here too. The Japanese snes library is quite deep

fun fact: he says "bloody" 10 times IN THE FIRST BLOODY MINUTE
not mentioned in this list, but also "bloody" amazing: - Romancing SaGa3 - Emerald Dragon - Tactics Ogre - Final fantasy Tactics - Firemen - Terranigma (tho this was released in Europe) - Marvelous: Another treasure island - Sailor Moon - Treasure of the Rudras - Chaos Seed - Traverse: Starlight and Prairie - Shin megami tensei - Dark Law - Metal Max 2
All those wonderful Japanese SFC games we never got to play. Instead, we were cursed with shovelware like Bebe's Kids, Lester The Unlikely, Wayne's World...I could go on, but I'd wind up crying hysterically. 😭
@hitkid2456

Well, have solace in the fact they got the Lester game, with an even more bizarre title (Odekake no Lester: Rerere No Re (^^;)!
The best part? Most "collectors" don't dare to touch Japanese versions of games so most SuFami releases are pretty affordable, even CIB.

Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima said they are looking at also making a full blown 3DS/2DS successor that will also be region free. Personally think it's a face saving move if the Switch fails, as the 3DS/2DS line is still selling like gang busters.

lol I see you used the Fat Controller theme for the intro here.
Just 10 more good SFC games you missed to mention in a very great and decent video: 1. Ghost Sweeper Makami, 2. Super Shell Monster Story, 3. Go Go Ackman series, 4. Super Ninja Kun, 5. Marvelous: Another story, 6. Shin Migami Tensei series. 7. Nekekketsu (2 beat 'em up games) 8. Hameln no violin, 9. Treasure of the Rudras, 10. Super Back to the future.
@TheXev

Agreed with the Volinist of Hameln. Its a fantastic game that actually follows its original manga (unlike the completely crap anime based on the franchise). Its a fantasticly quirky plateforme.r

once again a good and informative video and yet another full list of games i can add to my search for the Super Famicom until then ill have to suffice with the games on my everdrive... and keep up the great work as always my friend i look forward to the next video
Excellent video in which a great list of must-plays has been put together, I definitely in which want in which to check these out!
Wow. So many games that look great. Thanks for the video. Have to look for these for my Japan trip in October.

Found a few of these on my trip to Bangkok, post making this video. Glad you enjoyed it.
Awesome video - I'll be checking a lot of these out stat 👏👏
There were so many great games in the past, I don't even get why people get excited for new releases. Sure, recent games can be good too, but why take a risk buying a new game (some crazy people even buy it on day one), when you can get estabilshed great games? If you've never played it before it's new to you!

KrossoverGod I guess its because unless you are playing on pc, the games will have bad resolution and be on consoles that are a punk to find and get games for.

Zaphero Huh? The fact consoles are inferior doesn't mean people are more likely to buy games for them and you used the word punk in a way that makes absolutely no sense. It's true that older games are established and therefore low risk, which is why I play them a lot but with many modern games it's about the online experience, something which won't exist in even 10 years so with these games it makes sense to play them now, and the experience is entirely different.
Awesome brother. Thanks for taking the time to make this video. Now I just need a month to run through them.
This List is very awesome! Didnt even know some of this games thx for that!
This is an excellent video! Lots of great suggestions here for games to seek out.
Great video and great idea; I've never heard of most of the games you featured and most of them look worth tracking down.
awesome video! thank you for making this BLOODY list
Excellent coverage, nice work ;)
Awesome. In the near future, you should do a video on another 50 Super NES/Super Famicom games we couldn't play, if not a video on 50 Genesis/Mega Drive games we couldn't play. Keep up the good work.
This provided me with some great stream ideas and titles to pick up for my retron 5. Thank you Top Hat Gaming Man!
Dan Ibbertson was the one who suggested I check out your channel and I finally did and this was the first video and wow. I didn't realize there were so many games that look super interesting that didn't get out of japan. Time to look for fan patches for english translations huh? :P
What a brilliantly informative and helpful video. some of these are going straight on my everdrive lol. Thank you.
Cool Video fella, some of these I'm going to have to try & track down :-) I might even make it my plan for the year! oh wait.....
Wow, lots of good information here! Now I know what to look for on my next Super Famicom purchases!! :) Good video!

awesome picks for great games!! I love it! I've played many of these and I'm totally looking forward to try the others!
Fantastic video, exactly what I was looking for and even more than that. Man, this list is a gem mine.
The info on this video is awesome!!! I'm taking notes of games to try on my everdrive. Thanks!
Thank you for featuring Tales of Phantasia, I *adored* this game... watching this makes me want to play it again, the humor in it was pretty good too :D
Great list, didn't knew a bunch of them, definitely some games I'd like to get my hands on. Also very happy you included the Goemon series, it's so underrated. The title was a bit misleading though, I thought at 1st it's about 50 unreleased SNES games tbh.
You sir are AWESOME! As you said in the video I am tired of the same old games being featured on youtube, bloody awesome then that a stand up guy like you comes to change that!
PLEASE! Just list the games in the description! Trying to decipher Japanese names from a British accent is impossible.
The intro tune makes me feel like a Really Naughty Engine.

"You have caused confusion and delay!" - Sir topham hat
Great list! I'd played most of the games of this list, 8 that I'was not familiar with at all; I have a LOoong SNES Roms collection. More than a thousand games, and I'm still playing a lot just to finish them.
Nice channel and video! PS: I'm looking forward to your video on the SuFami Fire Emblem games. The fourth entry in the series shown in this video is one of my favourite games of all time and a *really good* translation from Project Naga is about 99% complete. I literally cried when I played the Beta!
Quality video, as always. Top hat gaming man is becoming one of my favorite yt channels
Great video. I wasnt aware of many of these
You just blew my mind with the Zelda Link To The Past sequel.😲Hats off to you Top Hat Gaming Man!!!
All the games in this video look awesome! Thank you Top Hat for introducing new games to a older gamer like me
just subscribed, it brings back old memories of my childhood even tho I haven't played any of those games (I'm in the U.S market)
This intro is amazing, auto subbed to you. WOOO!
Treasure Conflix looks gorgeous. Wish they did expand that idea more. Love to try it.
im late on this but love the list always looking for more snes stuff. also mad props for having clocktower on this list LOVE THAT GAME
I saw Great Battles in the opening as you were talking and I knew I was going to like this, me & my friends loved playing Great Battle III,IV & V on snes. We didn't know much about Gundams/Ultraman/Kaman Rider at the time cause we were kids playing import games. Still super happy to see Fighter Roar from the Great battle series still lives on in SRW PS4 titles
Thanks so much for this video. I just bought a famicom and thought there were only RPG's which I can't read and would hate anyhow, some of these games look sick!
tophat i tip my hat to you good sir, you hit all my big loved games man... seriously. GREAT LIST
this dude needs to type in all the games names
I'm glad I saw this, as I have missed a few of these in my older Emulator days.
This was informational. Thank you
Fun and funny narration, BTW!! Great videos!
great video heaps of gems i never heard of, keep up the great content
Bloody brilliant mate, cheers.
Very well done, my fellow import enthusiast.
Simply wonderful I'm a new subscriber .
Top notch video! Can you include a list of the games in the comments next time? Or maybe title cards for each entry?
Such vast knowledge in this topic! 13:18 worth to mention that it's a whole adventure against varying foes and bosses through very different landscapes... all in order to get a candy as a reward! I really loved this game, sadly never knew what they were saying.
Bloody good video mate!
Amazing games I never knew existed. Thanks !
My favoruite part, is the part where he says "bloody"
@SiccDeville

or when he says "free". as in one, two, free.
Another really cool concept added to Live a Live, aside from the multiple storylines/characters, was that each had it's own battle system.
"Which ones did you like?" uhhhh, how about all of them? I freaking love the Ganbare Goemon series thanks to dedicated youtubers like you
It would had been nice to list all the games in the description. : /

Then this video wouldn't have even half the views it has, because most would just read the titles of the games from the list and skip the video completely. Yeah, it happens...

Your right. Actually the real problem is that the author of these videos won't receive any money through ads from those who just skip the video, though the same could be said about people using applications like AdBlock.

Great video. Keep up the good work.
That live a life or whatever its called looks really awesome!!!!! Man i wish it came on my snes mini
Thx bro i had no idea about this awesome games, i just download some of this games for SNES Emulator
A lot of really great games that I am already aware of, but you also included a lot of games that went even over my radar. Well done. I'm sure you also missed out on some gems, but I guess it's a choice of snubbing some gems or snubbing other gems.
I was feeling quite hopeless...until Radical Dreamers showed up near the ending. Man, do I love that game.
This is fascinating. Thank you for making it.
LOL love your intro.
I smiled SO hard when you mentioned Radical Dreamers. It's really a good game and GORGEOUS music.
Awesome video!
Here's a nice list of games I'll be keeping at eye out for over here.
wow there was a Zelda 1 remake on the snes. never knew that. great video
fantastic video again!!!!!
MAGICAL POP'N! MY MAN! I loved that game as a kid. Something about the character, Princess, and the digitized speech. Plus the fact that the bosses were insanely hard. I wonder how my copy got into America, because I remember picking it up at a yard sale in the early 2000s. I've looked for years about who Pack In Video was, but I've never found anything much about them.
I've rewatched this video over 27 times, I really enjoy your videos! I forgot where i found out about your channel but i'm glad i found it. Your channel has well written reviews and entertaining subjects on retro gaming! I hope you reach 1 million subs ! You deserve it, This ASMR Fredisbread signing off.
Thanks, great video!
I had no idea Star Ocean got its beginning on the Super Famicom. Till the End of Time is one of my all time favorites.
thanks for this edition. I never knew about a lot of these games. lord, you are a Beautiful man 💕
Thank you for showing me Radical Dreamers. I never knew about that game and I LOVE Chrono-Cross. Looking forward to checking it out.
Finally some games I haven’t seen yet! 👍👍👍
You should make a list of Japanese Xbox 360 games we never got. Keep up the great videos !!

There is a great fan translation.
Great review ,
The music playing at the start "Into the Thick of it" from Secret of Mana is my all time favourite SNES music track!
I like the intro for this one!
Watch your music levels! Otherwise -- GREAT video. Earned a sub. Can't wait to marathon more of your content!!
I just found this at random and how does it start? With the 1980's Fat Controller/Sir Topham Hatt theme, and rightly so given the channel's name. Instant subscriber gain from me.
Thanks you good sir for this enlightening video. tahtah indeed.
I had no idea you are a Thomas fan, Top Hat Gaming Man.
Oooo I like this! I am sooo subbing to you good sir!
Kinda sad you missed Tactic Ogre but i learned a bunch of game i missed thanks. :)
I need to find that Mech Crossover game at 16:47! One of my favorite games on the SNES was a game developted by LucasArts called Metal Warriors, which was a side scroller where you fought in a wide variety of Gundam-esque mechs! Seeing an actual side scroller featuring famous mechs as well as Gundams sounds awesome!
Man, Square-Soft were freaking amazing back in the day, pumping out great games like clockwork. Now they're nothing more than a shell of their former selves.
bahamut lagoon! thanks for this. love yer channel
Bloody great list ;P
RPG Tsukuru 1 and 2. No one outside of Japan got a console version of RPG Maker until it was released on the Sony PlayStation. (RPG Tsukuru 3/RPG Maker)
A very well done video once again, my friend👍
Here's a few for the list: 1. Shigesato Itoi's Bass Fishing No. 1, a fishing/role playing game by the guy behind Earthbound, it's pretty fun and graphically really impressive. 2. Nankoku Shonen Papuwakun, a really smooth and good looking action platformer 3. Neugier, a linear action RPG
