I really enjoyed this top 50. I agree with a ton of the things you mentioned and was arguing many of these same ideas last weekend at Pre-release. On Wojek Investigator though, in my opinion, he proves his worth in Standard and Draft if you look from the Detective angle. Running a red/ white Angel and Goblin combo using the Detective triggers you can get not only a bunch of Hasty goblins and flying angels, but that Detective characteristic does some really amazing combos with providing all other detectives with pump or there are some instant/ sorcery that gives others haste, flying or lifelink and with other colors there is a vigilance add. I just think the combos with always entering the field creating friends and exiting the field creating little friends these cards remind me of the Commander Decks that use to create a low powered Goblin army and then pump them up once or add something like flying or vigy to them With something like Due Diligence or Call a Surprise Witness and they run all over the opponent. in Standard when you add back your shocks or even Galvanize, maybe a Not On My Watch, its an interesting and fun way to mess with people by laying down littles and clearing all the creatures they pull before they can really get them going. Since Disguise makes 2/2 creatures Shock works just fine on them and keeps your opponent from getting the big boys out too early. If it works out by the time his big gun does hit the field. you are ready to pump your guys and make them fly, or suspected so that even if the block is placed and kills one its the creature who either comes back or sends out a 2/2 friend anyway. Again that is just one of my opinions, so I just mean, I think you are correct in that you will likely reconsider your stance on Wojek Investigator.

Hey Dev. Been watching you for years now. Love the content btw. If I could make a suggestion when you do these lists that take all of the formats into consideration, don't forget Pauper. Anytime a powerful common is printed, it should probably be noted. Novice Inspector is a huge boon to that format, as it makes the Inspector Decks that much more consistent. Thanks :]

Correct me if I'm wrong, but split cards count the total mana value of both sides as the cards' mana value. So Push/Pull is 8 towards collecting evidence. Just thought that was worth noting.

ahh, green hath returned. the top 3 are definitely worth it. notably the split card you highlighted can be played in mono black in standard which is pretty dumb. i think it would have been something i would have considered in anje commander if it wasnt also white- even at 6 mana thats a house. thanks dev.

Demand answers: I think you got bamboozled by the "draw card" part. It happened to me in the past. But if you pay 2 mana and sacrifice a clue to this, you only get to cycle that card for a real card that do something. It have NO value if you do that. sacrificing a blood token... maybe? Discard a useless card? maybe... but sacrificing a clue is not an option, just replace itself. Break out: Not that good, even with 15 two mana creatures, it still have a 17% chance of whiffing. Just to give that creature haste? Yes, I can see it see play in a weird 3 creatures with 2 mana cost that happen to be a combo, but beside that...

Just a thought, but if you broke this video up into three, you could do top 20 for commander, top 20 for standard, and top 20 for draft, reason being that a top 50 mixing it all together becomes less meaningful. Most of your high 40s cards are amazing for commander and questionable or even terrible in standard.

I mean how is rakdos not rated so much higher? Standard meta decks are playing many more 6 mana or more cards, and theres a rakdos ramp deck

Nope. It's just straight up "whenever you sacrifice a Clue", hence why he brought up Bartholomei del Presidio. And my first thought on turning stuff into Clues would be Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer.
