Ik it seems harsh because you aren’t a fighter yourself and the numerous complications that can occur from continuous head trauma after you’re already unconscious but you NEED to realize that they are trained to fight until the bell or the referee stops you

I find it hard to see as well but I do understand it. Understand that in that moment you're all pent up with adrenaline flowing and you just get a huge adrenaline kick from seeing your opponent go down. You wanna make sure it's not a ruse or that you've hit hard enough for them to stay down, because it is not always the case. Seen plenty of fight where a punch or kick will bring the other guy down but not enough for them to be out cold. The fighters are conditioned hard to follow up and follow through until the referee drags them off.

As soon as I knew someone was out I wouldn't ground-and-pound and Hammer fist is face until the ref stopped. I turn into an immediate medic.

That fighter @ 4:06 was a disgrace. He jumps two footed onto the back of a KO'd opponent to launch himself into a victory somersault. You can see the referee immediately confronts him about it, and is not happy, but the video cuts to go to the next fight. I just hope that savage bastard got hammered in his next fight.

The way he covered up his face before that narshty elbow at 1:14 was fucking brilliant. The ones you can't see coming are usually the ones that do the most damage. I've never seen someone get hit so hard they freeze up like an old computer before (around 1:20)

because they frankly don't work. you see, a lot of modern martial arts (for various reasons) lack a proper discipline of sparring and testing against different styles, so over time they have distanced themselves from what's useful in a fight. while some fighters have successfully incorporated techniques from less common martial arts (like karate for Lyoto Machida or capoeira for Anderson Silva) the majority of MMA fighters uses some combo of muay thai, bjj, wrestling and kickboxing because these are disciplines with a track record of actually winning fights.

I like fighting, but I really don't like it when the opponent has fallen and has to be beaten again

Пока не убьёт. Мне в школе на уроках истории говорили про Древний Рим, тамошние гладиаторские бои и какая это была дикость. 😆 Но, ребята, извините - но мы сейчас на целой дюжине каналов каждый день наблюдаем не то же самое? Люди друг друга по сути дела гробят, и разве что головы отрубленные не катаются по арене, а по сути то же самое.

Unpopular opinion: Make sure he's out that's what you're paid to do. It's the referee's job to make sure the fight stops on time so if hes not officially "out" then finish the job
