Zaragoza is a historic city and the capital of the region Aragon in northeastern Spain. Located between Madrid and Barcelona it’s easy to reach with high-speed train. It’s takes less than an hour and a half.
The city is filled with cultural richness and architectural splendor. Nestled along the banks of the Ebro River, its roots trace back to Roman times, evident in landmarks like the ruins of the Roman Theatre.
The city's architectural marvels include the stunning Basilica del Pilar, an impressive example of Baroque architecture and a major pilgrimage site. Nearby, the Aljafería Palace, with its Islamic, Gothic, and Mudejar elements, reflects Zaragoza's diverse historical influences.
Wandering through the old town, visitors encounter charming plazas, ancient churches, and bustling markets.
