The barrel break was my first blaster (besides the spectre, I got them at the same time) and it was pretty cool for what it offered. I loved the emotional response of it, and it could fit behind me if I needed a shotgun. I loved it but I can understand why people hate it.

Funny thing is a long time ago, when I was a little kid, I remember going to a nerf war with a bunch of people. Nobody had any money, so it was practically a pistols only round. The only blaster I owned/used was my Maverick. And of all the people there, this guy was bragging that he had the best blaster, which was his deploy. And everyone looked at how big it was and we were like "whoa, he's got this totally op blaster!" In hindsight, I'd rather run with my trusty Maverick any day.

@@crusaderiii477 barricade are actually good blasters. Parts seem a bit difficult to find but they're a great option for secondary. If you want a mag feed flywheel then obviously stryfe is a pick over the barricade but if your forced to use your secondary it's usually because your mag is depleted in your primary or worse you used all your mags. Barricade doesn't use any mags and can reload it on the go scavenging darts off the ground.

I once went to a nerf war way back when the Nemesis had just came out, at the time my best gun was the rapid strike, when I went to nerf wars, there were more or less the same people most of the time, kids and adults alike. Especially if you went on a school night. But on the weekends, that’s when a lot of people came and played there. And on these weekends, there was this guy with the nemesis who literally ruled the entire world with it. We never beat this guy. But at least during the weekdays, he never went. So it was a little more even. Until one Thursday night, he came, and we all got shredded the first round. But, then there was this teen with a deploy, his secondary was a regulator, pls don’t ask why he used that with the regulator. But he came up behind the guy, shot him, and he was out, I later won that war and got an infinus. He never showed his face there again

I like the idea that not even the Ozone Layer wants to handle a Deploy. Anyway, here's analysis on the choice of the Deploy for the #1 spot over the Centurion, sorry for the wall of text. I hate the Deploy less than Coop does but I had two myself (and they both fell to the pump issue), so I can understand his hatred for it; even if you like the look of it, even if you like the gimmick, there's the important fact that it just...doesn't...work. Not only does it like to break its spring mechanism, but its attachment points are horrid. Its single tactical rail is placed in the most inconvenient place possible--right behind where the mag flips up, so if you want to put a Modulus scope or something on there you can't fold it up--and it already has a sight through the carry handle so it's pointless to put a scope on top anyway; it already has a flashlight built into it so that's redundant too; and, using its barrel lug both makes it even more obvious you're carrying a folded-up blaster (as if it _needed_ to be more obvious), and it ruins the one legitimate (if small) advantage folding it *does* confer--making it a bit more compact. The Deploy is a blaster that breaks too easily, is a pain to service, and is clearly designed to be self-contained and only has N-Strike attachment points because they're basically obligatory. As someone who's used both the Deploy and the Centurion, I can very much back up that the Centurion is a better blaster--it's big and bulky, predates Mega AccuStrike darts (and thus was even more nigh impossible to actually use _as_ a "sniper" blaster when it came out), and fires slowly enough that it's only usable _for_ a sneak attack, but the attachment points it has make sense, the mechanism is reliable, and for just plinking around and range-firing it's rather decent. I can understand, from the perspective of someone who goes into Nerf wars more often, why it would be hated--it's slow, uses a dart type that's somewhat uncommon (and thus less likely to be used by one of the other Nerfers, preventing you from turning their darts against them), and it's designed around the smallest magazine for its ammunition (and you basically can't prone at all with a larger one--hope you still have that Vulcan tripod lying around if you want to stabilize it!), but at the end of the day, the Centurion is a functional blaster, while the Deploy...isn't. I'm probably a bit softer on the Deploy because it was my first clip system blaster (and, while as aforementioned, both Deploys are now broken, I still use the mags from them with my Recon MKII), but I can agree that it is, objectively, a total and utter trainwreck.

His Deploy is no more so i don't think he will spend like a 100 dollar for that crap again.

This came up when I searched “nerf Vulcan”

My first was the barrel break, cool concept but the darts would legit fall out of the gun if pointed down and it had low velocity

I have deploy, after it broke 746 of my darts i replaced it with the titan

@C alpha strike is the best nerf guns at my country and they’re always discounted, alpha strike is designed to be cheap and now the handle is updated. I have 2 of them out of 5 guns I have

The worst blaster I ever own is probably the N-strike elite rampage. the perfomance is good, it can slam fire but the reasons why rampage is the worst blaster is because when jam is occured, you have to disassemble the whole blaster to remove the debris.

Lol I remember always giving my sister Deploy when were nerfing with friends. What an awful weapon

Only things that redeem the barrel break: It looks cool It probably inspired better shotguns like the rough cut, being an early blaster capable of firing 2 at once The attachment that came with it is good for the rough cut

Warden is worse for it's time but functionality wise it's not quite as bad, but the deploy is really old so that's expected.

​@@KkDaBoss a friend gave me a deploy recently and shockingly its not that bad. it jams sometimes but not as much as coop said. it is fun to play with it, but it is horrible when you try to reload, but the 2.0 phonix and turbine reloading is terrible . Its fun to plink with. its fun to play with.

My favorite gun, the Nerf N-Strike stampede, keeps jamming. Any suggestions? The Nerf deploy. I had one. Dunno where it went probably the trash. Me and my brother had a deploy and we never used it, but we played with it. It’s weird but it brings memories.

i liked the deploy design wise i only ever used it for playing army with my friends it was worthless for actual battles
