@@jarhillv9780 I have used the burn Hyperion against variant Lucifer, and the defense actually worked. It managed to keep Hyperion burn just far away enough to out stamina Hyperion.

One thing that always caught my attention was, why don’t Beyblades with circular designs spin both ways. Like if Lucifer is good at spin stealing then launch counterclockwise for most battles. Or if Xcalius has devastating attacks why not also launch counterclockwise.🤔

I had a Pegasus that would jump when struck by the opponent and it literally just jumped out of the arena 9/10. Cool gimmick cause it would do an "air strike* but it also usually fell on a bag angle and stopped spinning. I also don't think it was customisable but I haven't touched it in 6-7 years

I've had one that does the opposite: it uppercuts the opposing beyblade out of the arena, great for breaking through defenses, but the thing only spun for like 10 seconds. I think it's a combination of the edge shape and the rubber tip giving huge traction so that it wouldn't go anywhere if it was hit a certain way.

6:04 the deathscyhter gimmick is an interesting one because in real life takara tomys version is very loose so it takes nothing to move and has no attack power but the hasbro version from what I remember is kinda hard to move(in terms of when colliding) which means that the hasbro version can actually use the double strike and do damage, not necessarily burst worthy but still...

@@drakeredgrave6747 i kinda guessed that but you mean since it's stiffer it takes more strength to move thus increasing the force impact damage. And yeah there's no way it would burst, beys have less and less big contact points, that's why they're hard to burst. Only valkyrie is the one who's always kept the big contact points with the 3 blades, and for some reason the make the beys sharper instead of making them thicker so it doesn't slide off when hitting other beys

The Intro was super cool, looking forward to nxt one, especially the story

I haven't caught up with all these new fangled beyblades, but one gimmick I remember from my OG collection was the tip of the Dranzer beyblade. It has this rotating tip that was supposed to allow you to pick how sharp of a tip you wanted your beyblade to have with three options to let you further customize your bey. The problem? That same rotating tip kept coming loose. so instead of sticking to the one option you picked, it would instead flop into a lopsided position of being between two tips, like an upside down V. Fairly certain that did not help that beyblade.

@@mythlessrwf Galaxy Pegasus…that one brings back some painful memories. It was my favorite beyblade I owned, and I adored the shiny blue paint on the metal bits. Too bad my neighbor thought it would “look cooler” if it was scratched up, and launched it directly into the asphalt several times. Nearly all the paint ended up getting ruined.

I think deathscyther would’ve been a lot better as a turbo bey, because then the scythed could be metal and that would mean it might actually be useful. Also, for some odd reason my deathscyther’s scythe was really loose, and it would rotate outwards as a giant extra contact point for whatever reason? It was absolutely horrible, but it definitely hit harder. The plastic just wasn’t heavy enough though.

Variant Luficer and especially Hyperion Burn's gimmick especially get on my nerves because those beys are the main villain's and one half of the main character's Beys respectively. Because the gimmicks on those Beys in real life are so bad, it make it hard for me to take the anime seriously when Variant Lucifer literally only loses by a burst finish ONCE in the anime, and Hyperion Burn ends up beating monsterous Beys like Rage Longinus and World Spriggan. Yet another reason why Sparking/Surge falls so flat when it comes to the anime.

@TrainerblueTube Tbf, the way Hasbro designed stadiums pretty much only catered towards more Defensive combos because of the lack of any gaps in the walls, which meant ring-outs were impossible for Beys like Pegasus which needed to do ring-outs to get consistent wins. Beys with rubber tips are far more useable in the TT Attack Stadium. Storm Pegasus still wasn't great, but the Hasbro Stadiums made it look much worse.

Top 5 competitive beyblade burst parts would be a good suggestion. This can get you a lot a views if make this as it helps with combo making

Fun fact orb aegis can be awakened when you rip of the suction cup it becomes a attack type

The main issue with burn ring is that it's elevated a bit which does not help with burst resistant

The problem with killer deathscyther is that that butting the bound ability would make the bey more useless then it is because the moving scythe wouldn't reach the contact to hit the bey. Even I would've it wouldn't create enough impact to hit the bey. I think that takara should've had a sliding metal scythe to make the bey a little more efficient than a bound ability in my perspective.

I personally don't think 2D chassis is that bad, it can be good if you put it on a proper combo. For example this: World Diabolos Drift 2D. World Diabolos just makes you go right or left spin, meaning you can pretty much always choose for opposite spin, meaning you can pretty much outspin anything. Drift driver just gives you really good LAD, combine that with the spin steal of 2D and your dual spin ability, and you actually have a pretty great combo combined with 2D

@@Karthikkun2805 I think Mega Kangashkan is the best example he could have used, not only because its guaranteed but its also alot simpler. PLAs system is alot more complicated and doesnt explain anything to the player. While it is possible, using a speed style move doesnt immediately guarantee you can move twice in one turn every single time; only occassionally (on average). He also talked about like, no weak multi hit moves that = the standard damage, he went straight for the big moves like Close Combat, which only hit once

Left burst maybe make a opening skit where cheeto is fighting world spriggan and spriggan fuses with fafnir and longinus to make astral lol But totally agree with the video lol i love your videos

Maybe the orange chains on guardian kernels kind of flare out when it is spinning ready to absorb some hits. It also has another gimmick which it’s teeth might be weak, but the layer is pretty round.

On the expanding beyblades, it's not the drag that ruins their stamina (though that will have some effect) the main problem is conservation of momentum. When the blades, or tongues, extend they move some mass away from the center of rotation, which reduces the rpm of the top, and while they would add a couple rpm when they retract, it wouldn't be enough to offset the rpm lost to the initial expansion, and the friction losses from the top spinning against the ground
