I learned all that the hard way with my first inflatable doll... 😮.
A battery box / power station is a good investment. These are typically made of high-impact moulded plastic and will insulate the battery from the ground as well...just keep the battery in the box.
thanks good video, great tips . Watching from Argentina 👍
The battery shell would take on the moisture of the floor, as with the wooden encasement, creating an electrical current between the battery cells causing them to discharge.
Thanks. Good advice.

About tip #5. I am living in aprartment. Oct to March I will not use boat and leave folded. What will be consequences?

The bits of materials on the folds might start to fade aswell as the seals might suffer a bit. I also live in a small place so my boat often lives folded up in my trailer. Rather have a boat with a shorter life span than not have a boat at all is my thoughts behind it.

Ok so you wanted to know why to not leave your battery on the ground because the mental in the concrete wether it rebar or wire mesh it grounds out the battery

A seal has come out of place inside the valve of my bark inflatable. How do I get the valve assembly apart to refit the seal please?

No idea! If that happened to my boat, I'd take it in so the pros can fix it. Nothing worse than a leaking valve when you on the water.

@@ItsTippToppFishing Contacted the supplier, there is a special wrench that is used to take out the valve to refit the seals.

Yes
about the battery....Nikola Tesla can tell you why
you must never put any form of car or deep cell battery on the floor it can really mess it up
@dwightstewart7181

Why? The contents of a battery are completely sealed (insulated) in plastic, so are never in direct contact with (grounded to) whatever the battery is sitting on. Based on that, I see no reason why there would be any harm in sitting the battery wherever it's convenient. And, yes, I'm an electrician.

@@dwightstewart7181 ok fine your phone is covered in plastic yet you can charge it by putting it on a charge matt when you put a wet cell battery on the floor it will discharge and or even bend the cells inside making the battery short out on the inside
@dwightstewart7181

@@fabianallison2337 .. Guy, the design of a vehicle battery is vastly different than that of a phone. The plastic is much thicker, for example. Again, you're not going to damage or discharge a vehicle battery just by placing it on a floor - or leaving it sitting on the metal inside your vehicle.
