Dude I can honestly say that after keeping up with you guys for so many years... You have actually shown me the right way to pair cichlids... Never in a million years would I have looked at the sevrum as the most versatile cichlid... U can mix them up with virtually any type of tropical fish... They get really big but in my opinion they pretty much match their tank mates aggression levels... With small mouth and larger body they give you the ability to mix them with monsters or traditional community schooling fish... On top of the color combinations they have available... Definitely became the best centerpiece idea fish or even a complimentary fish to monster cichlids... I have even seen people have luck mixing them with African cichlids which I wouldn't recommend obviously but they hold their own wherever they are and can be as peaceful as goldfish 😂

I have a couple of electric blue acaras in one tank with 2 angels, 5 golden lyretail mollies, 2 bristlenose plecos, 5 java loaches, 5 panada corydoras and 10 zebra danios. No agression whatsoever frfom anyone in that tank. And acaras are so beautiful!

Hey nice video! Was wondering if 2 Angels, 1 EBA and 1 GEO, some corys and tetras would work out for a 40 Gallon? Id maybe also throw in a small pleco species in the mix. Was looking for some advice!

I had to rehome my male EBA due his massive aggression he litterly Killed one of my Uaru Cichlid that was about 8 inches and the EBA was only about 3 inches. Just goes to show each fish has there own personality

Parrot fish , Bala shark also live happily with them brother

too bad my Fahakas would take chunks out of them. Those are pretty cool! Big Severums would work. Lol. 💦 By the way, that's a pretty reasonable and attractive tank! 👍🍻

I had severums and they were not peaceful at all !! Especially the turquoise severum I had, he was nasty..

I had one and he was mean. He started to kill everything he killed my apisto which cost me like 30 bucks and than he killed my galaxy rasboras all 6 of them. My blue acra was small but he was a feisty one. I had to give it away cause a lot of the other face got scared of it.

shouldve known before, No wonder Mr. Icey gets bullied and beat up by some 7 month old convicts and an auratus

As a discus keeper..angels are a center piece fish..not a comunity dither fish..... eat too fast great dither community be a few clown loaches.
