Salt Spring is so cool. My coworker got married there a number of years ago. All the wine, beer, and food was local. We camped in Ruckle Park and it was so pitch black in the night that you could see every star. I stared into that abyss for hours and contemplated our insignificance in the grand scheme of the universe. And it was summer and the weather was idyllic.

I have been to Saltspring Island many times. At last look, the Inn at Vesuvius has yet to reopen and the Fulford Inn is now torn down. Ganges has a beautiful harbour to go paddling a kayak.

The vivid field of flowers...in this blissful spring island...reminds me of how my heart bloomed...that was once frozen from the winter season...the birds' harmonies produce a cheery melody...and complement the terrain of hues perfectly...my skin feels the gentle warmth of the sun...and let's my heart tickle as I think of you...the cherry blossoms remind me of how I fall for you...and how I was captivated by you like pink carnations...because you are as elegant as white lilacs...and a beam of joy like Sunflowers...may the hydrangeas show you my gratitude...for you have supported and understood me...may the tulips reach their message to you...wherein I confess that my love will be everlasting...Like the spring...it is gentle beauty like our story...and it is proof that after winter comes spring...Thank you for being my spring and new season...💖

Great video! I love all 5 of these stops, and I would like to add another few places like the other couple of wineries, the new distillery 'Shine' that we recently visited, and a new cidery, and we also recently went to 'Moonshine Mama's' to get some fabulous tinctures made with turmeric & ginger, etc....and don't forget to go to 'The Treehouse' restaurant in Ganges! There's so many fantastic little places to visit!

This is totally the Pacific West Coast experience... Rafting or kayaking, and then top the day off with wine/beer and cheese/berry tasting amidst the surrounding beautiful mountains and forest. Talk about a summer treat. If I were forced to move to Canada, I would insist on B.C. Absolutely love it. I've also been all over Toronto, but I don't like it as much. Terrain is too flat, and the culture is quite different. West coast culture is way more outdoorsy and exciting, in my completely unbiased opinion Lol. Anyway, this one is on my list now for next summer's road trip.
