All the same except I wish There was a better exploration ship for this price as the viewing in the cockpit isn't great. Really nice on the other parts of the ship though in my opionion.

two points on the MAX, it turns much better when in SCM speed (not red) and you missed out on the free gimbals! All size 3 guns, but they're on gimbal turrets!

Seeing as this video is gaining in views more than some of my others. I would like to say that I do now know about the cutlass black boarding availability to the side door.

Very good video, nice camera work, good explanations (but not too deep). Pertinent selection of ships and interesting point of view from in game "upgrade". You deserve more subscribers!

Sentinel hardpoint is not gimballed if u put on the S5 weapon. The EMP works but it works best against the naked hull , not the shields. So drop one of the shield faces then fire the EMP at 300m or less. It'll shutdown their shield generator for a couple minutes. Usually long enough for you to kill them. Was especially useful when they had that S2 front shield invulnerable bug on the Valks and Cutlasses

I do say that it's a sized 5 hard point with a sized 4 weapon attached on a gimble mount. Hmm Yeah that would make sense, when i used to do it I did have quite a good time doing it against the main shields of a damaged ships shields to finish them off then deal the damage. Would make sense to do it after though now. Thanks for watching

I bought the Sentinel way back for many of the talking points you mentioned. I’ll be happy to hang on to it for my combat roles!

Thing to note o nthe EMP on Sentinel - it is primarily used when shields are already down, to disable ships completely. This will be more useful later when you may have to bring bounties in alive and thus need to board them or down a ship without risk of hard death. It also is just useful for taking out a threat the second the shield are down, instead of needing to continue combat longer

Nice video, I am still thinking about upgrading my C1 to a Vulture ... salvaging seems to be a pretty laid back game loop at the moment.

It's good right now because that is the new gameplay mechanic being tested. Don't expect profits to stay anywhere near this high.

Agree that the Sentinel is a solid combat choice...followed by the Gladius... If you really want to get good at dogfighting, i would suggest getting an Arrow with LTI...because you're going to get destroyed numerous times due to its lack of sheilds, but it will also force you to rely on its maneuverability to get good at dogfighting with it... 💥

My suggestion has always been Freelancer Max with an Ursa Rover and ROC in the back. They both fit, and it is very budget friendly if you want to do it all.

That's a nice suggestion and sounds like it works well and is fun.

you can enter from the side doors in gravity you just have to look up at the ledge and double tap space bar

You can comfortably get 23* SCU in the back of the vulture which makes it even better! *You can get more but it's annoying.

Yeah yeah seems to become a game of Tetris after a certain amount lol. I do sometimes find this buggy whilst selling though for some reason. Quite nice they have that extra door on top to be able to not have to use the ramp to exit with. Thanks for watching

on the Vulture forgot to mention you can make multitool and attachment on the Salvage station which is a nice feature for new players

Note that center section on the Dur are fuel refineries for ship use, but not functional yet. The extra fuel is in the pods on the wings

I love the Freelancer whole line,can't wait for the gold standard upgrade for all,they need it bad,but I would not be happy without my Max for salvage and Roc mining or moving processed ore to market it's a great ship especially if you are going as a group of three,yes 3 Rocs will fit in the Max with no issues and walk around room,bring your hand mining tools and backpacks to collect the overflow gems and then transfer them to your huge ship storage and then split the profits three ways you will have a blast.great video and nice to see someone who appreciates the Freelancer series of ships to, thank you,I think one of the biggest changes should be the Misc Prospector cockpit in every Freelancer,but with 3 chairs Pilot front and center flying with main guns,Co-pilot to back right for remote turret in the back, get rid of the maned turret on all the ships and then 3rd seat Power distribution and missiles payload specialist as a rule for all the ships except the DUR that ship should have a larger crew for exploration so maybe a 4 seat set up or another section for deep scanning,and mineral deposits and fuel reclamation control,it would be nice if all the ships got a tracker beam to.Behind the cockpit section and bulkhead door a sleeping area with galley and bath/toilet lounge with Monitor for news tv movies,Behind that bulkhead door should be the EVA room and docking collar with suits and weapons storage with the side entrance,also every ship should get wider and longer and taller like 1 to 3 scu wider and 3 to 4 longer with the rear entry getting wider and an extending ramp for less of a steep angle for entry,every Freelancer should be able to get a rover in it and any other non heavy military ground vehicle,especially the DUR it's exploration it has to get ground equipment let alone repair droids or a snub fighter attached on top or even a fury in the cargo hold with a dedicated space for attachment on the deck equal to like 4 or 6 SCU space.Take care everyone see you in the Verse.Deep Runner 1.

Just one point your missing, like many players I've seen with the cuttie black : you CAN enter the ship side doors in gravity, just have to hop up and your character will do a muscle up and get inside. very quick actually once you are used to it.

A caution with the Cutlass black, don't assume that someone can't get in through the side doors as they've been updated to allow people to climb up as on the side doors on the Valkyrie.

@robertschumacher2707Is there nothing to protect against this seeing as it's a dropship and all (the Valk)? If not seems like something they should def make protection against.

Nice to see RSI respects our time. i went to buy the Vanguard Sentinel only to find out they increased the price to almost 11 million now. edit: it seems all these prices are outdated unfortunately. shame they make the game so focused on spending real money to get a half decent ship without a lifetime of grinding.

Do you think upgrading for a Vulture for LTI is a good move or should I just buy it ingame and pay the insurance and use my LTI pack to more dangerous job oriented ships like combat? Ty for the video.

To be honest the vulture is quite cheap in game so it may be worth just saving up for it there. Yeah I would say a more combat role is the one to go for lti. Thanks for watching the video 😁

Awesome video and tips. I’d definitely go with a constellation Taurus over a freelancer max. Not a fan of the Freelancers personally. Cost a million more but I think it’s worth it. I like the pilot firepower for bounties and pvp.

On the website? If so I think it may come out very soon as all ships purchasable in 2023 or something like that are coming out again to buy. So they could be included in that but might not be. If not you may be waiting a little while like months I think. Someone said late May / Early June is usually one.

Ok quick question, I’ve never played and I want to buy this game. Is it full free roam and is it a super grind or a moderate grind for stuff?

Hi, It is pretty much free roam, but don't be fooled by the major cities or anything as they have no interiors and you cannot even fly near some places there. There is trading points and spawn points and all though. Even though barren, you can explore any sub planet you can see. so quite free roaming. The grind is quite a struggle at the start but once you get into it and know how things work, you can find ways to easily make aUEC. Hate to do this but might as well. Honestly I would just buy the game now and use the refund he just mentioned if you don't like it, the events are sometimes unknows as to when they will happen and are filled with bugs and a bad experience in my opinion because of the amount of players.

much prefer the constellation Taurus over the freelancer max for another 40 bucks

How do you not have more subscribers?

Lost your comment for a second there lol. I wish I knew about that now but apparently you can also do it on Valkyrie side doors so you can do quite a high jump it seems. Pretty neat feature though Thanks for watching the video :)

Wtf, the Max has a toilet? Mine's missing. It's just an empty square where the toilet should slide out.
