I have a Segway MiniPro. Let's be honest these segways and hoverboards will never be as compact, fun, powerful, fast, safe, and have the range of an electric unicycle. The unicycle may be harder to learn, but it is so much better in other every way.

I actually have a Segway mini pro and an old electric unicycle I bought for $200 a few years back on eBay. I have experience with high end stuff because fix electric unicycles and segways for other people. Sometimes I also sell them for people. I recently had a Kingsong 16x for almost 2 months while I fixed the LED's and sold it. That one was fun as it had a lot of power for the small size and tons of features such as speakers, cool LED's, and an automatic shut off when lifted up. My favorite so far has been the gotway MSX 100v. I have fixed 2 of them and they have a crazy amount of speed and power. I took one of them to 40mph and I know people who have taken them past 45mph. It also has a 1800w battery which gives a range of about 100miles. Honestly the only reason I have the MiniPro is that I was able to get a good deal on a used one that I fixed, but my next ride on toy will be an MSX.

@@shereeward3865Well I'm a clumsy tall(6'5") adult like you. It totally depends on how much effort you are willing to put into learning to ride and what you want to do with it. I have personally discovered that once you get really good at both a mini segway and an electric unicycle, the unicycle is far safer with the larger tires, more precise control, better electronic systems, and it has a more powerful motor that can take a small bump without shuting down on you(happened a few times on the segway), but if you are a total beginner the segway is far safer as you can almost hop on it and ride off with no previous experience. Also If you will be around hills or plan on using it for transportation I would 100% go with a unicycle.

Segway makes other products that have that ... including seated scooters and power wheelchairs. They are a bit more expensive though. But, at least they have them.

I weigh 280 and the little guy handles it pretty well, but that alone is over the weight limit for Loomo. You should look into one of the more pricey models of segway like the ones the cops ride, those things have huge wheel and I;m sure can probably handle you weight.

All Crap. Battery must be phanny or backpack power. Not locked up in the ride. Battery tec change dayly and it is a choice of Li Ion or LiPo or LiFe or Pb or fushion or Nuclear power source not locked up in the ride. Look this is not Tesla and power on Segway must be plug in not built in. Get with it Segway!!!. One last thing Brushless vrs brushed Segways. Burshed burns out or wears out in weeks if not days Brushless motors are the only way to go Segway.

Almost everything Segway has ever invented is a flop starting with the Dean Kaman “segway” and after he sold the company to some idiot that killed himself by driving one of these pos things off a cliff , they continue to invent impractical expensive junk.
