Great video. Do any of these handhelds take Bluetooth headphones?

I have a few of these. Are the Miyoo Mini Plus and Anbernic RG35XX still competitive, considering the competition? Perhaps, if the price drop is taken into consideration. I have both the RG353V and the VS. The RG353P and PS are the same, but in a much more comfortable form factor, beautifully curved edge I gave up on setting up my Retroid Pocket 3 Plus and I truly hate Android, but really like the stunning clear blue shell and the form factor. Again, the RG353PS or P are cheaper and more comfortable than the metal version, the RG353M. That RG405 looks nice and the larger screen with a stronger processor may be really worth it. The RGB30 is quite interesting and either that or the Retroid Pocket 2S could have and should have been included.

I'm glad that you mentioned the rg353m. The 405m may have more power, but it doesn't have the hdmi out and the pocketability. I can't explain how much I enjoy the rg353m. For it being a gba killer to being dockable turtles in time, Simpsons arcade 4 player snes mini killer. It may get overshadowed as time goes on due to performance, but we may not see such size and dockability for some time. That is what the 405m is missing.

I'm stuck between the Retroid P3+, the Anbernic RG405M, RG405V, and the Odin. Right now they're all on sale at the same price. The 405V is a little cheaper by like 30 bucks. Can anyone help? They're all similar but I don't know really know what's up.

RG353P and PS version. It's by far the best handheld for GBA the most comfortable there is. It's been 3 months since you posted this. What did you get?

Anbernic has a sale today on 11/11 so I purchased a RG405M based on some research & your recommendation. I was leaning towards the RG353V but upgraded due to screen size & horizontal vs. vertical (no one ever discusses which one is better/more comfortable?). I guess that it's a personal preference. Thanks for the video.

That's the vertical version of the RG405M. I didn't get a chance to review it unfortunately, but if you prefer a vertical handheld (plastic not metal), it looks pretty good.

What's more powerful is it rg405m or retroid pocket 3+

I got the rg505 with gamma OS .. GameCube plays well.. N64 is great .. and some PS2 even does good.. not bad for a year old device .. I got the 351p also for lower end stuff

I don't keep a frame counter running cuz it distracts me but I don't notice any dips or slowdowns on the games I've tested.. so far I've played through windwaker, resident evil remake, Mario sunshine and Castlevania for PS2 .. I'm running gamma OS now also

I second the 2.8" is too small comment. It barely has any grip. Small hands only. It is very very cute. If someone told me it was made by Nintendo, I would believe it. The quality is top notch. 😶😶

Hmmm...personally the only one of interest for me this year is the PowKiddy RGB30 with it's unique 1:1 screen and ability to play GB,GBC and PICO 8 so so well. Of course it does well on everything to PS1 and plays most N64 and Saturn games. The others this year are just more of the same from 2022...

Why not get a modded vita?

Why so many reviewers keep saying that playing ps2 isnt great on rg405m and rp3+ while in the gameplay videos testing ps2 games seems like almost 80% of ps2 library plays absolutely great in perfect quality?

Reviewers don't really tweak the device for each game. It's basically tailored for lowest level consumers. They aren't going to mess with settings for each game to get the best proformance. Like for my retroid pocket 2s I've seen so many reviews saying it doesn't do gc/ps2 but I've found around 60% of games work flawless with some tweaks.

All the links you provided are ridiculously expensive in Australia. They are all cheaper on Ebay or AliExpress 😂

The Retroid Pocket 2S should take the #1 spot as the most value under $100, it can play a few GameCube games, PS2 and has the best sticks compared to the other handhelds and also analog triggers with HDMI out and BT+Wifi. No competition for that price

If Anbernic releases an RG405P with a plastic shell, swapped d-pad/stick and a cheaper $100-150 it would be the perfect handheld for me.

I feel like this list is backwards and the handhelds get worse as you count down. Truly confusing.

For me the best is the miyoo mini plus. Why? Because the dpad makes it easy to shoot hadokens as easy as if Ryu was really spamming them. Other devices like anbernics, RGBs, and even the so called mighty steamdeck has horrible dpads.
