There will be major growth opportunities for any city within an hour of Columbus and on an interstate. We have been seeing it for a few years now.

The downsid is that the newcomers want to live close to downtown, but that means displacing the current poorer and fixed income residents who are literally pushed out in the street. Like Austin, the newcomers drive up prices and change the fabric of older neighborhoods.

Funny when you provide the facts and about why people are moving here, the usual folks from other parts of Ohio who always flood the comments on videos about Columbus, magically disappear...

I lived there from 77 to 2015. Used to be a nice quiet very affordable town. Not anymore. It's becoming Philadelphia

As a rental property owner I agree. I actually don’t want the homes to sky rocket here. But unfortunately they are going to continue to climb.

Because of the newer companies, prices have gone through the roof. Because of the fast growth and the need for more infrastructure. Crime is high. To compare Columbus to New York or Cali😳 really it's gonna rank better in all categories.

Would love to see a video about shopping centers and places to go shopping in Columbus. Planning to move from NY to Columbus! Love your videos!

@@MovingtoOhio I guess for those people then yes you are right. I've just always associated those as the most expensive places in the country, so it's a no brainer that Columbus will be more affordable.
