For example attending any classes or courses ? If yes can someone list any? 3) what books do you recommend for a high school student and what I should study before graduating ? If you see this comment can you please make a video about such content because I’ve done a lot of research online and couldn’t wrap my head around it 💙🌝

I am a Geology student in Canada so I may be able to answer some of your questions or recommend material to read to deepen your understanding and appreciation of Geology. 1) Do I need to write the SAT to get a degree? To my knowledge no, although it may be different for other institutions/programs. However if you plan to get your degree in Canada and then practice in America I imagine you may need to write an SAT to become certified. 2) The best advice I can give for attracting attention from a university regarding geology would be to perhaps attend some sort of Geology camp or something of that nature. It would be hard to find employment in the field of Geology without a degree because, much like engineering, there is an accountability requirement. No employer is going to hire someone without accountability because if a geologist provides inaccurate data to a geological engineer then dams are going to collapse and that is bad. Best advice I can give is to find a deep appreciation for Geology. 3) In my experience, high schools rarely offer courses teaching the basics of Geology so it is a good thing that you want to read to understand more. That being said, Geology isn't, in my experience, as mainstream as fields like Chemistry Physics or Biology so finding literature that caters to the layman is somewhat difficult. The best thing that I can recommend for beginner literature is "Environmental Geology (2nd Edition). This textbook approaches most aspects of Earths geology as a collection of interconnected systems. A very good read to put everything into perspective. You should be able to find pdfs of this textbook online. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.

Having done my bachelor's degree in Geology and currently studying a master's in Exploration Geology, I wouldn't say that physics is required; usually, you would be taught the necessary physics fields to be able to apply that. That's not to say preliminary knowledge wouldn't help though. In my experience, Geology is more Chemistry focused, especially whilst studying my master's.
