In this tutorial, Boris takes a closer look at the Live 12 Piano Roll and explains all the most important updates. We start off with quantization, which is now much more flexible. Then we take a look at arpeggiation, which is now built into the piano roll. We continue with chopping shortcuts, which enable faster than ever MIDI editing. Finally, we discuss two generative tools: Rhythm and Seed. These tools are incredible additions and allow you to create rhythms and melodies you wouldn't have otherwise come up with. Let's get started!

3:29 So you are saying that a human can record a phrase, quantized it in order to be in perfect time and then apply humanization to make it sound more human? mmm interesting...

I love this feature for anytime I have typed in MIDI, like drums. It’s all on the grid so you humanize it back off the grid. Another thing is sometimes I play something, I quantize it to make it easier to arrange and edit, so having a humanizer can get me more natural feel after my edits/arrangements are done. I love this

You haven't said anything about Scale, you just missed it, very much for nothing.
