Hey thank you! Unfortunately I haven't dyno'd the car yet. I've been curious to dyno it and see the real numbers too so I may have to do that one day. Driving with the tune off and on is a huge difference though. I leave it in Race mode. The throttle controller and tune is the pair that's most important for the is200t for sure.

Hey thank you! I never did do a dyno to get my real numbers. I know the Lexus will never be a real powerful or race car but the little performance mods that i do have allows the car to open up more and betters the driving experience. That, and I'd pay just to find out a Civic has more power than me 😄

I've been thinking about the charge pipe but I figure the car won't be driven too fast anyway ..."2slo4u status 😄". The Race Chip makes a huge difference though. I drove with it off for like a week to troubleshoot a Check Engine Light and the car felt so slow. Whether Race Chip or another tune, it definitely wakes the car up.

Hey I have had no problems at all with me having the car with an intake for about 15k miles now. I do know of the concerns especially with the turbo using a bypass valve and having a MAF sensor, but I personally haven't had any issues at all. theres no 3L v6 in the 3is only the 2is but the 3L was only available in asia, and also if it wasnt for ecu restriction on the is200t it would easily push 300whp as the engine itself is able to hold up to 484hp and the 6tranmission is the same as the isf so its more then sufficent for the running 300whp. only pros of going for the V6 in the is350 and and is300 awd is that they are proven reliable while making like 260whp

@@2slo4u honestly no change in sound. The biggest changes in sound were from the apexi mid pipe with res delete. Im REALLY looking forward to seeing how the RR Racing downpipe with GESI cats sounds. I dont want to have to remove the downpipe every year for emissions and the smell lol. I have a question for you though. I always keep my racechip on eco mode because putting in on race or sport would cause limp mode. What has your experience been like on race mode all the time? Are you flooring it a lot when you drive? I saw another comment here saying that the throttle controller would do that, but i havent had any issues whatsoever with the throttle controller and racechip on the lowest settings. its not the throttle controller that gives limp mode, its the piggyback tuner (racechip). I have both and when the throttle controller and racechip are on highest setting, i get limp mode when going too hard. The boost pressure being produced is maxing out the turbo and alerts the ECU. BUT, when throttle controller is on highest setting but racechip is on lowest, there is still considerable power gains and NEVER limp mode in my experience. I've redlined multiple times on each setup just to try and tinker with the settings to find the most optimal one with the best power gains and no limp mode whatsoever.
