Salim Serrano ....According to the rules of volleyball.. the ball is usually played with the hands or arms, but players can legally strike or push (short contact) the ball with any part of the body.

The last one was probably the coolest one. It's like, oh no, my teammate got the ball out of the court, better take a risk, run.... Leaps over camera people and bumps the ball right back in and the blocks the spike. BOOM!

Moreover back then they weren't allowed to play outside the court, so he had to do it in mid air without touching the barrier and the flour outside the court. This is the most insane pick up ever, you can never beat that :D :D :D

#2 clip Brazil libero was INCREDIBLE, I’ve watched some volleyball matches before and I’ve thought that the libero position is so incredibly important and in many ways it reminds me of the goalie in lacrosse (I play lacrosse goalie, reason why I know about the position). For both lacrosse goalie and libero, your entire job is to keep the opponents from scoring and to keep the ball in play. Some of the best liberos I’ve seen will quite literally throw their bodies onto the floor to keep that ball in the air, self-sacrifice is the core part of the entire position. Exactly like goalie, your job is to plant your body and your lacrosse stick in front of that ball and get it back to your team. The number of bruises I get in a single week from games and practices is nearly always over 3 or 4, but I don’t mind. The act of getting in front of the ball is second nature, you develop the instinct to get hit rather than to cower. I imagine liberos develop in a similar sense, their instinct is to keep that ball alive.

I don't get why people can't like volleyball because they watched Haikyuu, it's not like people think that the show is the source material for modern volleyball, they're just relating it to what was their first major exposure to the sport. Also you should be glad that they can relate because that means that the show is faithful to the sport and doesn't overdramaticize volleyball just because it's an anime, which means that people appreciate the sport for what it is when they watch Haikyuu

There is no point in disallowing using other parts of the body, since using hands is clearly the optimal way of letting the ball bounce where you want it to go. At the same time, during any exchange it is possible for the ball to hit a leg or the head, sometimes willingly, like in the case of the woman here, sometimes unwillingly, like when a fast kill is intercepted by your body without any chance of you reacting otherwise.
