1. This includes the best non-controversal NFL fight songs. There is a certain well-known NFL fight song that didn't make this list because of its extremely controversial nature.
2. This only includes NFL teams that are both in existence and in the city that the fight song refers to. Essentially, the Houston Oilers and San Diego Chargers fight songs will not be featured here.
3. The fight song has to be currently regularly played by its team to qualify for this list.
4. Fans would have to routinely sing some portion of the song or have a chant directly associated with the tune for the song to qualify as a fight song.

I dunno. The shout song in Buffalo is the best I think. It's simple. Everyone wants to sing it. They sing it even when it's not playing in the stadium. People sing it on the streets and at gatherings other than football. People will just start singing heyyeyyyeyyyeyyy. I'm biased but those old school songs with contrived lyrics are great but shout rules lol

It's about as "controversial" as the Boston Celtics. Just as there are a large number of people of Irish descent living in the Boston metro area, there's a number of people of Scandinavian descent living in Minnesota.

The clip is from Super Bowl 52 when Philadelphia faced New England. The game was played in Minneapolis. When a team scores at the Super Bowl, it's customary to play their fight song...if they have one.

How are #5 and #1 not controversial? Skol Vikings (per the poster’s logic) is controversial to Swedes and all Nordic cultures. The only reason why the Eagles even have a song is the wife of the owner at the time heard Hail To The Redskins (gasp!) and wanted a fight song of their own.

There is way more driven energy in skol Vikings than fly eagles fly. Fly eagles FLY is to boring in beginning because there is no energy in the song.
