New balance won me over last year with their Action Bronson collabs. I HAD to get both of his colorway dog the 990 v6, which is my favorite shoe model to date now. Comfort/Style/Quality you can’t beat it.

I was all about the 2002 in 2023 but diggin the 580s and 860s for the comfort and price point

New Balance has been my go to since the mid-90’s. It’s always been about foot comfort. I know the fuel cell tech is the top, but for my feet, I love the fresh foam x tech - my go to. I have the More v2, v3-my fav, the v-4, 1080 v10, v11 and v12. I’m waiting for the more v5. Since I tore my achilles tendon three years ago, my podiatrist gave the fresh foam x tech the green light for me. It’s all about cushioning over stability. She said a too rigid mid tech will aggravate my condition. I use them as life style shoes.

The 1080 v13 is amazing can’t wait to try the rebel v4 I think new balance is taking over 2024

Just got my first pair never tried NB before, copped some 610v1

I absolutely love my 990v6’s . I work as a campus peace officer and I swear after a whole shift of constant standing I no longer have foot pain. And with them having less suede I feel like they’re more cut out for rainy weather…with invulver spray of course 💯

Hes question for you please. I believe my foot width is similar to yours. Sometimes I'll go up a half size to gain a tad more width but I don't always need a wide version. With your foot width I don't hear you say very often that you liked a particular shoe but it just didn't fit your foot very well. Don't you run into the shape of shoes just not fitting your foot well at times? I went to a Fleet Feet store and tried on several brands and the New Balance just fit my foot very well.

I do think that JB/Nike are a bit stuck just like you said, newer models are a bit hit & miss but I am a sukka for classic retro colourways but I am also into new NB colourways and models as well as their top notch retro's

New Balance is so good and so underrated…. Positive note is that because of there not being that much hype, it’s not too difficult to cop really mice kicks from them

If you would have asked me when I was younger if I would have NB, I would have just looked at you funny. But now I am hooked since 2000 and ALD / Teddy Santis up’d the hype to it’s always great quality. I’m a dad now not into the dad look - if you know what I mean.

I’m not feeling the mesh runners with the wide spaced mesh nor the metallic hits…the suede on shoes like 2002r looks better imo and new balance current running shoes don’t do anything for me casually

I bought several 1080 V12 at a nice discount. So far the color options for the V13 are very boring hopefully they'll roll out more colors soon. I've been wanting to try some of the other NB shoes but last year was not able to find any locally.

Teacher, city workers, students, first responders, students, professors, veterans, almost everyone is covered by some discount. Nike offers teachers 10% online on sale and full priced items. But not in store.
