You should move here ASAP. In two years it will be more expensive to live here than California. With the metro 🚇 subway 🚊 completed the townhomes will be 700k and single family homes at 1 million. My 8 year old townhouse is 500k and in two years it will be 550k to 575k.

Funny thing is that 6 years ago we had our eyes on Ashburn as a first choice. Ended up living in Centreville for more land.

Hi Salwa, unfortunately not. Rent in the area have really shot up this year. In One Loudoun you realistically need $2,600+/month. In terms of furnished, I know of a few luxury apartment complexes that offer furnished units but you will pay a premium. If I was in your situation with a $2,000 budget I would look at apartments.com, hotpads.com or I would try to rent a 2 bedroom condo in Lakeshore Condos in Ashburn Village. At Lakeshore you would only be 2 miles away from One Loudoun and at your $2000/month budget.

What about Brambleton? What do you think?

Ashburn Village is so old! It reminds me of Sterling! Yuck! I'd replace that pick with Broadlands. Nice SFH and townhomes....some parts within walking distance to the metro stop. Shops, restaurants, and so many amenities. Plus there is a new housing development going in next to the metro plus a university campus in the plans.

Approximately it sure is. The main reason is it in a gated community with a lot of amenities and you have to join with social membership fee.

So is Ashburn village far from future metro

Not at all. I personally live in Ashburn Village and the new Metro will only be about 7-10 minutes away.
