Kakakshi's longevity with the Sharingan is a feat within it self. Orochimaru is probably the most knowledgeable shinobi by the events of part 1 and even he wanted no parts of the Sharingan without an Uchiha's body. Hence his obsession with Sasuke. One thing I often see people forget is that a Sharingan wielder can't copy nature techniques that he or she hasn't tapped into already. There's a reason why despite having the Sharingan, Sasuke couldn't just outright copy the Chidori. He first had to train just to have access to lightning release, which I believe took him 3 days. Then he had to master the Chidori. Sharingan isn't a miracle worker. If Lee were to get a Sharingan, he'd only be able to to copy Taijutsu based attacks. Kakashi left the Anbu 4 years before part 1 at the age of 22 years old. Based on the anbu "filler" I can see Hiruzen grooming him for the position and had Kakashi’s mind/spirit have been right. I truly beleive that Kakashi would have been Hokage. As the story progresses, Naruto's presence reminds Kakashi of Obito and you can feel Kakashi slowly changing. The same way Tsunade saw Dan and her brother in Naruto. Had Kakashi forgiven his father sooner, who knows where he'd be. Great video! Should have mentioned Zabuza and Kabuto, though.

The sharingan literally improves your reaction speed, it also made him immune to almost every visual genjutsu, and if you train your body to a degree that jt can endure certain lvl of strain you could could copy people physical speed, and if you consider dms kakashi it basically made him invincible unable to be touched, while although boruto kakashi is considered stronger the only difference is his chakra pool and output

@@august2687 as a kid Kakashi showed more promise than anyone without having a sharingan. His speed and reaction speed were already insane and could have reached Minato levels. The larger chakra pool would have made him a BIG BIG threat and he already was a big threat.

I get your way of thinking with Kakashi however what Minato was able to accomplish in his short life I think is superior to Kakashi.The run on sight speaks for itself .Also being the youngest elected hokage is crazy(Hiruzen wasn’t elected he was given the position by Tobirama).Kakashi is also the son a legendary ninja who was above the sannin in power (at that time) so he has good genetics, Minato has no gifted genetics and Jiraiya thought he was the child of prophecy.I don’t agree with basing their graduating ages as such a big factor cause Naruto was a genin up until he was an adult and he’s one of the best prodigies in history .So yeah I would disagree there with those too but great vid bro. Also would you consider Nagato a prodigy?

I do think that Minato’s 24 years were better than Kakashi’s first 24, but I think Kakashi first 13-14 were better. After Minato died he experienced a massive mental nerf, that’s implied in databook 4 to have not left him until the war arc. As far as Nagato, no I don’t consider him a prodigy. He’s a full blood Uzumaki (generic advantage) and got arguably the best power up you could get just handed to him and a young age (Rinnegan).

That’s been debated a lot, but it’s not entirely certain because we don’t get a clear look at the eyes in the first panels. I lean toward it being a 3 tomoe at least for Kakashi because it looks to me like you can see a bit of the upper part of one toward the bottom inner part of his eye, one tomoe clewrly at the bottom outer part of his eye, and then his upper lid is covering the top one. Spacing looks like a 3 tomoe to me

Even with all that bro g said I’d still put Minato at #1. I say this because of his unmatched prowess. He had FTG And created rasengan whereas Kakashi in his prodigy era made an incomplete jutsu (and although Minatos rasengan was incomplete it was still usable) and took his masters Justu. It’s not the same as creating it yourself.

You can make an argument for that, but it’s unquantifiable. We have no idea how fast Shisui’s body flicker was scaling-wise, but we know kid Kakashi was verifiably a lightning timer at bare minimum.

They added a year to his age at 11, not 10. He joined the Anbu at 11 and was promoted to captain before turning 12. Their standard minimum age for a captain is 12, so they had to falsify his age (from 11 to 12) in order to get him out from under Kakashi’s watch so Danzo could do what he wanted. Since the standard minimum age for an Anbu captain is 12, that means there have certainly been 12 year old Anbu captains before. Obviously 11.5 years old is more impressive, but not by much, especially when you consider WHY his age was falsified.

Nice breakdown man. I got a question though with minato, dude is considered one of the strongest ninja in the anime despite only really using two jutsu (FTG and rasengan) along with sealing... Do you think thats the special case for him since he was a master of the FTG (which fhe jutsu in and of itself is wayyy better than most jutsu) and a master of rasengan (one of the most destructive offensive jutsu)? Is that why he can get away with just using two jutsu majoirty of the time and still being revered as a great ninja

Great question! Yeah I think it goes back to what Zetsu said during the Itachi and Sasuke fight. Even a stone can counter a kunai when wielded by a master, so the lethality of the weapon depends upon the effectiveness of the wielder. That said, those techniques are great, but his mastery of them is what makes him so powerful. It’s like Naruto’s mastery of the multi shadow clone jutsu. The jutsu by itself is great, but when he can make 2k clones it’s CRAZY.

Also, are sealing jutsus useful in fights/mainly used in fights where say the opponent can't really be taken down by ones jutsu/very hard to.. so one wojld resort to using sealing jutsu to kinda dissapear them? And if so, how easy and efficient are using sealing jutsu in combat, or is it tedious and time consuming

As far as sealing jutsu, we actually see things like the seal that restricts the Hyuga clan side branch family from attacking the main branch, so sealing jutsu can be used to seal off abilities and even harm someone in response to their bloodlust. So, applied correctly, sealing can be really useful.

@@oscarperez5539 Well I don’t think Hidan is stronger than Asuma tbh, but yeah Minato should be able to do things like that. We see the Adamantine chains from the Uzumaki clan enable them to hold down bijuu and they can’t do literally anything else haha

Hagoromo states in regards to Ashura, “…„WHILE STRUGGLING THROUGH TRAINING, THE POWER OF BODILY CHAKRA AWAKENED WITHIN HIM AND HE ATTAINED POWER RIVALING HIS BROTHER'S,” (sorry it’s in all caps I copied it from the manga lol). So, the way that comes across to me is that he was able to unlock his innate six paths sage mode just through hard training alone. Nobody else can do that through training alone, as that was a genetic ability of the SOSP. But even with that aside, Naruto is a half-blood Uzumaki. The Uzumaki are known worldwide for their insane chakra and life force. He also had the strongest of the nine chakra monsters sealed inside of him that he was able to access through training and friendship. Nobody who wasn’t gifted Kurama and Uzumaki genetics could’ve ascended to those same heights, without crazy genetic abilities and power giftings of their own (like Sasuke).

Kishimoto stated in an interview that the ability is Shukaku’s, but he can still use the ability because “once the power is ingrained in you it never leaves”. So essentially he still has Shukaku’s ability because he was the jinchuriki for so long

I'm a prodigy myself no one can even compare to me. I have a special ability and with this ability, can make my teachers tell me the answers I need for a test. I can pass by most people without them ever feeling my presence. This ability is called "Stupidity."

Someone does not need to get a three tomoe Sharingan to unlock Mangekyō, so it is not proof that Shisui did. Neither Obito nor Kakashi had three tomoe when they developed to their Mangekyō. They had two which immediately developed to three as the Mangekyō was unlocked. Itachi was eleven to twelve when Shisui died (not thirteen). He was likely fourteen to fifteen. Danzō falsifying his age was for the position of AnBu captain, not regular AnBu. Regular AnBu can be eleven, many of them likely were as they are sometimes plucked out of the Academy and the minimum twelve-age requirement for graduation was not instituted until after the the Third Shinobi World War. It is noted it has been about fifty years since Hashirama's death when Yamato is introduced. Assuming Tobirama died the very same year, then Hiruzen would still already be twenty-two, about the same age as Minato when he became Hokage. Incidentally, Madara is about two years older than Izuna, and Hashirama is of similar age to Madara, Hashirama became Hokage when he was also only a few years older than Hiruzen. (Hiruzen is still likely the most prodigious talent as he surpassed even his father, another noted genius, though.) The splash text at the beginning of Minato Gaiden which VIZ removed states "at the front lines of the previous great war..." suggesting it is early in the third war, as opposed to late in the second war (Kakashi lacking his hitai-ate is not proof, shinobi do not always wear them when off-duty, as shown by Kakashi himself in the Sha no Sho omake, and Naruto, occasionally). It is impossible for the Third Shinobi World War to have ended when Kakashi was ten as when Kakashi was ten, Itachi would be younger than four, whilst it is noted it still raged when he was four, when Fugaku brought him to see it (which lines up with Kakashi actually being twelve). It took Minato three years to develop the Rasengan. It is unclear if Minato Gaiden is showing the beginning or the end of those three years. Kakashi's jōnin age aside, it is likely there were other AnBu younger than him. Hiruzen did not make much of a fuss of Itachi becoming an AnBu so long as he proved himself on a mission, and it had been noted that AnBu had been taken from Academy graduates, which at the least means others who were twelve existed. Kakashi obtained the Raikiri in the AnBu which was after Rin died. Anime filler might have just gotten that wrong. Yamato actually has a better record in the AnBu, not that he is better than Kakashi. Kakashi Retsuden is around fifteen years after he lost the Sharingan, it does not take place in the Blank Period.

We also don’t know if at 18-19 he had the chakra control to teleport bijuu bombs. We see him do that at 24. We also don’t know if Kakashi’s lightning timer physical speed as an 11 year old gets him above Minato’s physical speed. We also don’t know if Kakashi would’ve been able to gain the same level of intel without the sharingan or not. None of those claims are based in things we actually know for sure. I do think a couple should be correct, but there’s no way to prove any of those claims.

So it’s mostly due to itachi being insanely good that he graduated within a year.. I mean he was literally using shadow clones at age 5 🤷‍♂️ and mastered a nature release at age 7 or so

No they’re separate. The Uzumaki are related to the Senju, though, so that might be what you’re thinking of. The Sarutobi were around during the warring states era and ended up joining up with the Senju.

I stated that characters who had genetic advantages or power handed to them get docked points because the goal is to measure raw talent + how well they maximized that talent at a young age. So, the more basic the genetics, and the more rapid the skill is developed, the more “prodigious” a character will be. So for Sasuke and Obito, they both have genetic advantages (sharingan) and they both got massive power ups handed to them (Hashirama cells, curse mark, six paths chakra). So it’s impossible to claim that Sasuke would’ve ended up as strong as he did at 16-17 years old, had he not received those power ups. Same for Obito. While Itachi and Shisui also have massive genetic advantages, they didn’t have random power boosts handed to them, and their talent was recognized early, even without the sharingan, particularly Itachi’s. But that’s why characters like Kakashi and Hiruzen do so well here. They don’t have a massive genetic advantage and they didn’t really get massive power ups handed to them. You could argue the sharingan for Kakashi, but he was already jonin level by the time he was 10 years old at Kannabi Bridge.

Shisui used koto facing a ninja with a stolen byakugan in the novels & afterwards was going to use koto on Fugaku so he didn’t have 10yr cool down

There are two possible reasons for that. 1- Shisui had 2 variations of koto, one of which was stronger and took 10 years to recharge, the other of which was weaker and could be recharged faster 2- Shisui had the same ability in both eyes and each had its own recharge, meaning if he used his right eye’s koto he wouldn’t be able to use it again for 10 years, but could still use his left eye’s koto, but then it would have to recharge as well.

Haku should pep ablt be on the list. At Naruto's age, he was "supposedly" stronger than Zabuza (if you belive Zabuza). Zabuza is oncpar with patt 1 Kakashi, which may put a bloddlusted Haku over him. If 10 year old Haku > part 1 Kakashi, then you can argue for Haku being on rhe list

Haku was 15 and his entire move set is based on his kekkei genkai. He was strong, maybe even stronger than everyone on the list, but not as prodigious

Oh you are right. I thought Haku was younger, since I remembered an anime line that said he was about the same age as Naruto. But after looking it up, I was wrong

​@sageofthickcalves yeah we also don't know how good of a sensei zabuza was so haku could have been naturally that fast and strong without intensive training which would place him basically at 1 or if he was training consistently at high intensity which would place him below everyone on the list we simply don't know

@@azrael_morningstar He’s also half Hyuga and 1/4 Uzumaki with literally the strongest shinobi ever (who inherited part of Hagoromo’s chakra) as his dad, the Hyuga princess (who inherited Hamura’s chakra) as his mom, and one of the strongest shinobi of all time as his grandpa. Even with all that, he still would’ve lost to Shikadai in the Chunin exams if he hadn’t cheated. Bro has all the genetic advantages in the world and still wasn’t all that pre-Karma.

He managed to learn the Rasengan but only because sasuke told him to, not because he himself was out there training. Heavily implied and stated that Borutos potential is very high, he just was born in a era of peace.

Since, according to Kakashi, Boruto pre-Karma was bordering on Chunin level at 12 years old, while every person on this list was easily Jonin level at that point, it’s pretty clear to me that he doesn’t deserve to be on this list

Kakashi had no genetic advantages? Lol. His father was a famous hero who later offed himself because he saved his teammates rather than sticking to the mission.

Name one other Hatake. You could EASILY make the argument that Kakashi and his father were both just incredibly talented, not genetically gifted like the Senju and Uchiha. There’s zero evidence for the Hatake clan having some special ability similar to how the Senju, Uzumaki, Uchiha, Otsusuki, Hyuga, etc did

@@sageofthickcalves Senju really have no special technique outside of Hashirama, the reincarnation of Ashura, and his wood-style (Tsunade and Tobirama are both fodder, no one else is shown or implied to have access to Wood-Style except through Hashirama's cells specifically). The Hatake clan also predates the creation of Konogakure, being noted for their adaptability and their ability on the battlefield although their history not being specifically apart of the story. Just because there aren't named characters of the clan other than Kakashi and Sukuno you still have to take into account the legacy of the clan.....

Kakashi being top is all based on statements much less feats....there are far more impressive people who did way more at his age. If you go by that whole he's weaker than haku cause zabuza is weaker than haku and there relative then final valley sasuke and Naruto neg him😂 On a serious note Kakashi doesn't even do anything that impressive. Minato boxed the nine tails as a teen. Obito fought a kage at age 14.

- Well, I’m of the opinion that ANBU Kakashi is stronger than part 1 Kakashi, since Kakashi is openly rusty in part 1 and didn’t seem to have the stamina he had in his ANBU days. That said, Final Valley Naruto and Sasuke both have outrageous genetic advantages and power ups handed to them, so they can’t make a list on prodigies if it’s based on raw talent. In terms of raw power, they’re crazy, but they’re not as talented or prodigious as Kakashi. Same with Haku, since his fighting style is based on his kekkei genkai. I actually have a video on Kakashi vs each of the Konoha 12, though. I think you’d enjoy it. I go over both the hard canon and extended canon stuff. - Cutting a bolt of lightning at 10-11 years old is pretty impressive to me bro. That’s a better speed feat than any other character 13 and under has. - Obito was 17, but he also was gifted Hashirama cells on half of his body, along with already having Uchiha genetics. Obito wasn’t a prodigy imo. Too many handouts only for him to still need more handouts to contend with Kakashi in the WA.

​@@sageofthickcalveskakashi being rusty makes no sense considering he has never been stated to take any breaks, even when he began training consistently by the timeskip his increases were not that great. Kakashi mental state I think had a negative impact on his power especially after minato and obito death, I wonder how powerful kakashi and all these character would be in boruto time where they had well constructed classes that far surpassed any version of the academy that came before and for kakashi living a happy life with his dad.
