Your video was lovely! And your coloring is truly beautiful. I think you will finish Johanna's Christmas. Perhaps a nice video closer to Christmas would be a more detailed video on your pages in that book and how you got everything so shiny-your materials and techniques. I like seasonal coloring as well-I'm in Canada, so we have similar seasons to you.

Thank you so much for this. It is wonderful to see changes in your coloring style and is encouraging to those of us who continue to develop our skills and add to different media usages. I wonder if you, or any other colorists out there can explain why there are so few images of men in most coloring books. There are none, for example, in most of Hanna's books and very few in most others, except where they must be [e.g., books based on movies or TV serials] and in some of Tom Tierney's costumes books. This must discourage boys with artistic interests from coloring and it is a shame for that reason

You've coloured so many beautiful pictures. I'm not even close to colouring so many in one book as either of your 5th spot books, let alone what you've coloured in the rest, I guess I need to get colouring, LOL. I'd say go for finishing Johanna's Christmas but I'm a bit of a Johanna Basford fangirl so may be a teensy bit biased! (Secret Garden is my book I have the most coloured in).

Pebblez Adult Colouring hahaha it’s not important to finish a book, but I did color a LoT Every Day when These books were New. I still color much, but I don’t Have as much time (and it takes more time for me to finish a picture nowaday). But I might finish that Johanna book one Day!!

I really enjoyed this video. It was fun to see a mixture of both your old and new coloring. I think if you do finish a book it will be something from Hanna Karlzon. I have not finished a book either. The ones that are my favorite I keep going back to but I am in no rush to finish them since I enjoy them so much.

Debbie N. True, There is no rush! And now I Have so many books and like the variation so I don’t color much in the same book anymore, as in the beginning. But it seems likely that it Will be a Hanna Karlzon book, if I finish any!

Beautiful work! I like the Daydreams book, but I’m going to order the Fairy Tales book.

This is a wonderful video, I love it! Pity Sagor Och Sagner isn't available in the UK, I've been trying for a while, and it still eludes me. Maybe one day... I have a question about one of the pages in Color me Calm. There's a mandala with purple elements that look like they are done with a marker, but there is no bleed through on the other side of the page. Therefore, I thought maybe it's not a marker at all, or it's a water-based marker. But all the water-based markers I came across so far are streaky, so I avoid them. Could you please disclose the secret: have you found non-streaky water-based markers? Or do you have a special technique? :-)

Lovely Work! I have Color Me Fearless and Color Me Stress Free. I got them both on sale back when I was just getting started in coloring, and though I don't really color in them that much any more I consider them my gateway books into my coloring book addiction. I wasn't sure if I would like coloring, even though I loved it as a kid, and didn't want to spend the nearly $30 on Johanna Basford, though I did cave and buy her book not that long after. I really need to get Fairy Tales by Emelie Öberg one of these days, I've had it in my shopping cart for quite some time and every time I see a finished page I really like it.

Do you use water color in these books? I liked the Seasons, #3, 2 & 1. I love your artistry.

This was fun! Number 1 was a surprise. I've discovered that "favorite illustration style" does NOT equal "favorite illustration style to color" and sometimes your favorite artists' books aren't necessarily the books you go for. This was such a good parameter to judge your all-time faves. Also, authentic pronunciation! I was going: so *that's* how it is pronounced! (^_^) Voting for Sagor och Sagner.

What medium do you use to get such bright vibrant color.......so far I’ve just been using pencil but needless to say very pastel compared to these beautiful works.....

Ooo I use a mix of mediums depending on What I feel for... But I also use just pencils a lot, but do a lot of layers and press quite hard the last layers to get the color on top of the other layers. And I like pencils with much pigment, like Prismacolor. BUT I often wish I could color more delicate and pastel - but I seem to just do very colorful pages... So I’m sure your more soft colors are beautiful!
