Overall, they have bad QC policies in place. They turn out a high rate of lemons. Yes, there are some people that have had success with Taurus guns, but as a former owner, I can tell you that it is too much of a gamble buying from them. Countless people here can tell you that along with everyone else on other forums. If a Taurus is somehow all you can get and all you can afford then, okay, a Taurus is better than no gun, but I'd steer clear of them.

It's worth it. And surprisingly great at rapid fire. Range down town has one on their rental lineup. Check your local ranges. Once you run it, you'll want one even more. Wife also says that it is her favorite last time she went there to shoot.

I'm a huge Smith and Wesson fan but gotta say tye csx is terrible. Might feel good but reliability is more important. But I agree, the m&p shield or shield plus should be on here. I have a 365xl and changed grip mods 4 times before settling with the icarus precision hybrid pro. AND, it's it's the snappiest micro 9. With a pmm comp and barrel it's pretty comfortable now.

I don't think the shield is considered a micro.

Hand size matters, the original P365 with the pinky extended mag fits my baby hands like a glove lol.

​@herculesrichardsonjr3572 The front sight fell off on the 2nd shooting session. U can screw it back or install new night sights anyways. I got it for $250 at a gunshow. I didnt need it because i have p365 already. Bought it anyways because it was cheap. Lol. Great gun for the price. No problems at all

Not sure what is it with Taurus but those are super ergonomic.

Ergonomics on a handgun is determined by the user or operator… it is totally objective……

The CSX is my go to. I’m sad you didn’t have to Canik MC9 on here. I carry either the MC9 or the CSX.

I'd take the MC9 over that list.

Nobody likes single stacks anymore but I love the grip feel on my Kahr PM9. I'll take the drop in capacity for the better concealment and comfort level I get out of a Kahr handgun. It feels right to me.

A lot of people called the Hellcat "snappy", but when I took it to the range, I loved it. I was able to maintain my aim after every shot, regardless, and it's by far one of the most comfortable firearms I've ever shot.

Walther is the best ergonomic grip of any pistol in the world...

I notice many Micros are becoming G26 size & weight to get capacity up. Glock got the G26 & G27 done right decades ago.

Not stock, but the Wilson Combat grip module on my P365 & P365XL ain't bad for my short fingers.

Taurus has many in shock and disbelief.

Comfortable and ergonomic are fine but dependability trumps them all. I tried the 3 of the 5 and decided that the Springfield met all three criteria!

Hellcat should be #1 The first gun has a horrible reset and the Taurus G4 has recall issues if you drop the gun, I will shoot! The Springfield has no issues at all !

Just bought an FN Reflex and the 15 round magazine makes it so comfy in your hand.

@@antoniotula262 I've had a bunch of different pocket pistols and that browning is by far my favorite and I can drill targets in a nice group at 60 yards to point blank. Nice factory trigger, there is a guy on ebay that makes some sweet grip tape grips. (No one made grips for it when it came out)

I CARRIED A Glock43 for all duties. I didn't take training seriously due to how small uncomfortable the firearm is. Also it suck far as 6 plus 1 for home defense. It was harsh to shoot and control the recoil. I realized I need a larger firearm due to better control of recoil and ammo conpacity. I knew I need a Firearm that could use a red-dot and light combo. I knew I wanted something that could hold more than a Glock 17 without base plate factor only.

Uh...I am never going to knock someone's opinion if that is what you like but I did NOT like the CSX, the Shield Plus should be #1, Mossberg MC2C or MC2SC, then I don't know I would throw a shadow system on this list with others around $500-700. Can't argue the Sig, Hellcat wouldn't be on my list, Taurus isn't bad, I'd take a Canik MC9, Sig 365 and Kimber Mako OR Glock 26 gen 5 with extension to round out my top 5

Glock Perfection....👑 But that CSX & Sheild Plus is TOOOOOOUGH...

The GX4 just got a recall...it turns out its not drop safe, and it can fire off without warning if you bump it.

Yeah im unsure about the Gx4 but have heard fantastic reviews from friends. I have a G3C myself and its my second G3C actually. Sold my first one that was ode green, wanted it back. My new one is black. It's the G2C slightly improved. Lol. Came out of the box for me a bit tight. Hollows did not chamber or feed reliably as is to be expected but after its first 100 rounds of FMJ it started to break in chamber hollowpoints very well. Good hits on man sized targets at 100 yards. Gun costs 230$. If you got a good one, you got a good one. You cannot complain about that.

Hellcat , shield , gx4 , 43x ,

I was finally able to get out and break my CR920 in, and there's good and bad that was not apparent from a month of dry-firing. The really good was that in 250 straight rounds I had zero malfunctions whatsoever. Also good is that it shoots less snappy with a pinky dangling than the hellcat does with a full grip. Bad was that despite that big beaver tail, I got some nice slide bite to the point where I had to rub the blood out from under the slide. I've never had slide bite before on any gun. The next bad was my finger got pinched between the tip of the trigger and the trigger guard on each reset and ended up giving me a blister. So not the most comfortable gun to shoot, but reliable yes it seems so. The big green front sight took up a lot of sight picture and made the Dicken's drill pretty tough, but hopefully hot-gluing a red dot on top will improve that.

I haven't had slide bite on mine yet but some guns just don't fit some hands as well and maybe that's the case with you and the CR920. The Glock 29 is that way with me, my pinky gets pinched between the mag and end of the grip whenever I'd shoot it, not a deal breaker but really annoying and painful with more than 7 or 8 shots fired. Hope you can get it dialed it or worked out 👍🏽

@@LWRoad oh yeah definitely not deal breakers. I have the hands of a spider monkey, thin but long fingers, but my grip is so high cuz all I have shot this far has been high bore axis guns. Will definitely hang on to it and enjoy it nonetheless, but also because as difficult as it is to obtain a handgun in new York, it's even harder to legally sell it and get rid of it 🤣

@@piela650 Oh man, sorry to hear you're in NY! Yeah definitely hang onto it. Nothing wrong with having a good grip though, better getting a little slide bite than a sloppy low grip!

Sig needs to flatten that take down lever and slide lock or move one of them. I don’t have large hands but the placement of both interfere with my grip.

@@LWRoad does it affect your grip at all? I primarily use Glock, Canik and try to get high up on that barrel. My wife has an sig p365 and never noticed how hard on the hands the slide lock and take down lever is because it protrudes.

I just bought the GX4 last week. I have a glock. honestly? idk which I like better. glock I'd say shoots a little better. longer barrel. but the gx4 I'd say is more comfortable in the hand.

Love my GX4 Carry ! 15 rounds, great trigger and reliable! Those mags are interchangeable with the other X4 versions too! Love it!

I have only shot 3 MICROs a 380 totally sucked a SS 5 shot Charter Arms 38 100% good to go & a Ruger plastic 38 , I like the Charter Arms better . For me a SIG M11-A1 / P229 3.9" or a G19 is as small as I will go I like the SIG BETTER that would include P228 & P239 Both are 100%

Inspector comp isn’t technically a micro. Period it’s sort of in a class by itself. I would actually put it in the same classes like a hellcat pro, just a custom gun basically

BTW when you add large mags & a dot ??? it's not that small any longer. The grip is the hard part to hide , might as well get the longer slide with more Vel & Power , less recoil , possible more ammo ?? Just say-in ...

I thought about that, but I wanted to give them a shot with the extended mags first. It'd be interesting to find out how many people actually get these and carry with the flush fit vs. how many carry the extended mag included with the guns. Good poll idea!

I Carry a Taurus g2c mainly because I'm comfortable with it it's similar in size to a sig p365 which is what I started shootin except the big difference my Taurus hasn't been a lemon to the point I got rid of it for its problem like I did the sig I have a friend with the same model p365 and his runs flawlessly like my g2c does for me
