I’ve been using the Fly for about a year now and have no complaints. In my opinion if you’re looking for a minimalistic hydration pack, this is the way to go. Enough water for a day trip. Enough room for a small lunch and maybe a very small tool kit. No reason to spend more money than that. No issues with durability so far.
It's best to have something that puts weight on your hips vs on your shoulders. Helps keep weight off your arms and lowers the center of gravity.
Waist packs are a better option if you rock a neck brace. The back packs tend to push the brace forward a bit which in turn restricts helmet position when in the attack position.. at least that's what they do to my Astars Bionic Tech 2
Uswe fit great and doesn’t bounce around, not cheap but a quality product.
I have had a few different packs, but so far USWE has been my best. Only complaint I have is they should have insulated the water tube. I ended up taking my insulated Camelbak tube and put it on my USWE.

when I'm done drinking, I blow the water from the tube back into the bladder. You never get stuck with hot water when you do that
Minimalistic is Ozark Trail from Walmart. Although your brands are cool and made much better. Uswe just over engineers to reflect a higher price point. Fine job on the presentation.
Can you conceal a firearm in any of them? Do they have enough room for say……..a G17?

Your Glock is best concealed in the upper portion of your riding boots. I find the tech 7 provides just the right amount of space to firmly hold my Glock while also allowing for quick deployment when it’s necessary to govern the speed of my riding buddy.

@@kevinvesey5263 🤣 perfect, I’ll try that on my next ride. Maybe my G26 would stow in that location better. Thx for the idea.

@@kevinvesey5263 Not if you wear your boots properly with support.
Don't buy USWE if your a big dude. I have large chest/shoulder and even with the larger straps, it was too small to wear if I wear my Leatt Soft Chest Protector vest
The zippers on the USWE packs are real sticky and grindy...they are awkward. Also, don't wash your USWE pack if you want to keep the logo on the back, it comes off. Cheap.

That's odd, which model do you have? I haven't had either of those problems with my USWE packs.

@@rmatvmc Really? would you guys be willing to exchange mine for a new one? I washed it twice in a regular LG washer and the back logo came right off. The zippers on all those packs are grindy, they are not smooth like other packs (I have about 10 different ride packs). The model is Moto Hydro 8L, blue one. I'm pretty sure I purchased it through you guys.
