I love my Aspen and have had more comments on my technically red one.

Said it right out, wish Apple still made the leather cases. The 13 pro leather was unreasonably discolored though.

Which do you think offer more protection, Andar or RL?

I have an Andar, Keyway, and Bellroy for my new 15 Pro. The Bellroy seems to be the overall winner and is closets to the Apple leather case I had on my 14 Pro (which I loved).

Not sure they were out when you made this video but the Lumazi cases are my fav. Best quality leather, great color selection, and strong Magsafe magnets. Also got it shipped free with a lifetime warranty.

I like the Nomad because it’s a hybrid. How much thinner is the Nomad vs Bullstrap or Andar?

It’s definitely thinner than Bullstrap. Andar isn’t much thicker tbh. It’s pretty much your standard leather case size.

Hey Pat when you ordered from Ryan London did you have to pay import duty and fees?

I don’t think there is anything like that. Just normal shipping charges. Free for 5-8 days & $20 for 2-3 days express.

How thin is Ryan London case compared to Andar Aspen and Mujjo ? Any suggestions for the best thinnest leather case

I’d say the Ryan London is thinner than both of those cases & lighter. Definitely one of the thinnest true leather cases I’ve tried.

@@PatsTechcould you weigh them to confirm this? I have an RL and don’t see where the thinness comes into play, it’s feels like an absolute tank of a case and the sides are higher with a prouder lip than the Nomad which is the only other I have.

I managed to get my hands on the new Bullstrap Contemporary Sienna closed bottom case, and gotta say it’s a game changer! I love it! I also love my Andar case as well. The bullstrap one is softer, thicker, and a bit heavier in the hand and the Andar one is a bit thinner and lighter. I don’t plan to give it up. Can’t wait for this thing for this Contemporary Sienna case to patina over time. I do prefer the camera bezel metal ring on the Andar. There is nearly no clearance on the bull strap one. looking forward to you to do a review of the new contemporary case, keep up the great work. I love your videos! 👊🏼😎

First off, thank you! I’m definitely grabbing the new Bullstrap case. I love their current style ones so the new closed bottom is going to be even better imo.

@@PatsTech yeah I’ve got the 15 Pro Max and don’t have the biggest hands and find it more comfortable for my digits for sure. And with this one the bezel is low enough towards the bottom, that it offers a pretty good smooth swipe up as you see.

I'm torn between the Andar and the Ryan London. I'd heard in another review that the Andar buttons are a bit sharper and the Ryan London's button are not as sharp to the touch. I wonder if you found this to be true or false? Thanks very much in advance for your response.

Yeah, I noticed that right away. The Andar buttons are so good though. You can feel they’re a little bit sharper but it doesn’t bother me too much.

I have the Andar Aspen and am considering switching to Ryan London. The black ring around the camera lenses on the Andar chips over time. I've had two of these cases now and the chipping has happened on both after 2-3 months of regular use (and not mishandling or dropping in any way). Have you had this issue?

I personally haven’t had that issue & I’ve been using the Aspen for almost 2 years now from the 14PM to the 15PM. That’s really unfortunate bc it’s a great case. Maybe check out the Blanc color with the silver camera ring? The Ryan London is really solid though too.

Thanks for that feedback. That's a real bummer since they replaced my last case with this new one because of the chipping, and it's now happening again. I prefer a saddle brown color, so I might just go with the RL. Thanks for the reviews!@@PatsTech

I got that Andar one and man, it is a bit slippery for a day or two and then... It becomes perfect case. Quality, leather smell, but mostly, it gets better with age. It gets that vintage wear off kind of a thing. Perfect. So basically it's not getting to bad looking case. 😎

Fit goes to Andar & Bullstrap. This is a general answer but I think they all look great honestly.

Bullstrap gives you 2 free replacements a year for life

I love variation and having choices depending on my mood and my fit for the day. Currently I have the Nomad Horween Modern in Rustic Brown, Grams28 121 in Olive Green Leather, Bullstrap in Ocean Blue Leather, and the Andar Aspen in Navy Blue Leather. I have to say that all are amazing leather cases. And the Grams28 is under rated for sure. Yes it’s a hybrid (leather & TPU), like the Nomad, but the leather is just beautiful and super premium. Overall I loved your review of your top 5, great vid!!

Your top one will cause an issue if you are using lens covers. I can see the space is very tight. For lens covers Ryan wood be a good option.

Personally for me it’s the fit & the color choices you get. They’re both really solid though.

Got the Nomad Leather and not feeling it. Feels like a case with a leather back.

Yeah, that’s pretty much what it is. A little more rugged leather case with the TPU sides for drop protection.

Ryan London is the best. I wish the would offer more colours like Bullstrap

​@@PatsTech Great, accurate review. Have the same RL in tan replacing Apple silicone in clay - Prefer simple, lightweight cases - the RL being classier and grippier (to me) the natural successor to the defunct apple leather
