When adding supports manually one points at the destination where you want support and the software automatically decide where to put the bottom of the support. You can edit and move the bottom later. However if the bottom is on the build plate (actually little off the build plate) and you then want to move it onto the model, its seems impossible. I want to buy Pro version, but I just seem to continue running into the same problem: I am not printing cartoon characters. I print industrial models. It seems like all training, all demos, all videos, all tests are for cartoon characters. Thus these printers are excellent at cartoon characters. But I want to print a simple square box, and have problems from the slicer to the printer.
