12:07 "Get up and get a job!" I actually got mad from that. Just like last experiment, homeless vs rich applying for jobs. Disgusting.

I guess it's actually how we sell ourselves that determines people's interest in us. We all gravitate towards nice and beautiful things The way you looked or the lady looked and how active both of you were while asking for the fanciful things drew attention Of course, the poor would probably not look nice. You can try dressing neatly the way you and the lady did and ask for food and see the outcome Also dress poorly and try asking for the fanciful things Compare and see the difference I guess many would not mind you when you dress poorly and ask for the fanciful things We just don't like to see nasty things Also many think the poor are just lazy ( this is not always true though) People were ready to give in the fanciful cases probably because they've seen you've worked hard to reach there and just need a little push They instinctively trust you would make good use of it to reach your goals cos you're probably hard working It's a philosophy of putting it on your knees and someone helping you send it to your head. Start and they will help you continue. If you can be trusted with the little you can be trusted with the much. Your looks commanded trust This is why a thief in a suit would probably rob us and go freely but we will always suspect the shabbily or poorly dressed I guess this is just human nature Thanks I may be wrong

I mean I get where they are coming from not wanting to hire a homeless man, especially in the food industry. Less people would come to the resteraunt if the people serving/making food looked homeless. They would also have to get the homeless man a bath, clothes, and a phone to contact them, which wouldn't be ideal.

I hate when people say get a job because its hard if most people don't like homeless and don' t want to hire them people don't understand. Sometimes the bank declines you if you want a bank account and when you are homeless you usually lose you id also you need a bank account to get a job. I think the Los Angele city needs more better people.

I can understand where some people are coming from. Like some homeless are just sitting down, looking relaxed. Maybe they feel like they're not taking it seriously? I understand why the homeless are sitting though, don't get me wrong. People are also terrified that they'll use the money and spend it on drugs. We can't know that. If it's appearance we're talking about, then the homeless should spend money on a good outfit then. Have one as their designate clothes to wear for a job interview. I say it so casually, and it's not as easy as typing. It's just my advice and just trying to justify that not all blame should go to the passers-by. Yeah, we shouldn't judge others simply by appearance, nor should we help the people that wants superficial items by ignoring the needy. That is my ted talk
