Nice video and so cute your little guy finding a spot for his cars on the rocks! I lived in Fruita for 6 months a while back and looking forward to returning to the monument with my wife this September. An early Kostner bike riding movie was filmed there.

Hey guys, one of these days I hope to rip around the rockies in the Colorado area. Great hike choices..Monument canyon looks sweet! With Covid around things have been so busy here...learning how to teach my kids, etc. But staying out and active. Hope you all are doing well!!! And that you have a bunch of great hikes planned for the summer! Keep on given er!!! Love the rock formations in the Canyon!!!

We are hiking local (in Idaho) and discovering places we would have never looked into before so that's fun. We are looking forward to more camping/fishing too! Those are some awesome places to see!! I have a trip planned in July to Colorado. Hopefully it won’t get canceled. Cool video and have a good weekend

wow .... Colorado is gorgeous :) I've only been to the Arizona/Colorado area .... someday I must explore the beautiful national monuments over there ;) you guys are such avid hikers, I would be hyperventilating if I have to carry anything while hiking hehehe :)

Yes, Colorado is a wonderful state to explore. Many times we have been really impressed by National Monuments, they are really underrated by travelers. If we wanted to hike, our son had to come with :) Now he doesn't need to be carried, which is a great thing! Thanks so much for watching and for your thoughtful comment :D

Wow what a beautiful park this is! I've never been but this definitely makes me wanna go visit! Looks like you had beautiful weather the whole time you were there as well! The hikes look great and I'm glad you got to show us 5 of them! Little man had me laughing so hard at the end of the video🤣🤣👍. I had to watch that part over and over again🤣🤣. Ah ah, Little Man was practicing his presentations skills 🤣 We stayed for a week and had nice weather for most of it and a few days of rain. It was late October and weather cooled down through the week but it was great. You would definitely enjoy it Eric. We also stayed at a great Airbnb, we can share the info if you are interested. Thanks so much my friend!

Beautiful hikes! Love the ones where you can take the kids along without having to carry them. I think going on hikes like this will be some of the first 'travel' we do after these bans all get lifted. :)

Never got a chance to go to Colorado National Monument. Loved the wild life capture. Looks like a very relaxed place for hiking and beautiful views. Loved all the information about each trails. How do you rank trail? It’s fascinating to me what makes a great trail. Thanks for sharing ;)

It is one of these places we never expected to like so much.Great question: we rank trails through a combination of the trail condition, features you can see on the trail and how much we liked it. We don't take into account if the trail is rated easy, moderate of difficult. What would be your way to rate a trail? :)
