I’m a goalkeeper, just a tip for beginners when buying gloves never and I mean never ever! Buy gloves with the metal/plastic guards in the fingers, when you dive there’s gonna be times where the shot is just far too powerful for your hands to withstand and it’s going to hit your fingers, the metal plate is going to bend back dig into your skin and rip the gloves, trust me it’s happened to me before I definitely recommend buying a nice gripped latex gloves. Always catch in a W shape or scoop catch. When your in a 1v1 always come out legs wide and arms spread out and pressure that player thanks for reading hope I help some of you beginners or even some advanced goalkeepers.

I disagree. i've broke and disjointed many fingers before switching to fingerguard gloves. using the fingersupport definitely gave me a lot of confidence

Adidas gloves r easily ripped or broken. Also the grip doesn’t feel as sticky as other good gloves. Uhlsport is my personal favourite with absolute grip and super grip at the top of my list. They are very durable and look good as well.👍🏻

i disagree, adidas is the best glove brand. there is a reason de gea , ter stegen , neuer wear them , if there was anything better it would be on their hands!

@karaotskittle spot on. I’ve been a gk for over 10 years at a high level and adidas gloves just don’t deliver. You might like them like I did when I was young because they look cool, but when you get older you will realise that other brands might not look as flashy but they do the job much better.

These are all fantastic gloves for sure. But if you want the best bang for your buck there is absolutely NOTHING that compares to the quality of NGA gloves for the price. It is one of the smaller brands but the fit on all of their gloves is incredible and the latex is absolutely top notch. All of their gloves are under 75 euro but honestly a lot of their pro sponsored keepers wear their thinnest glove because of how good the feel on the ball is which is only around 40 euro! I’m not sponsored or anything I just think they’re the best gloves out there for the money. Just look up NGA Goalkeeping!

The thema was "Top 5 best goalkeeper gloves on the market from the BIG goalkeeper brands". I think just with less then 75,00 Euro you find a professional glove from smaller brands: T1tan has an awesome grip, much more better then G3 or Supergrip and costs under 60 Euro. The same for DragonSport-Italy (not the chinese DragonSport): for under 60 €uros you have an amazing glove.

Yes I love Sells! Personally I wear the Sells Wrap Elite Aqua Campione. The Sells Wrap Elite Aqua Campione go for around $120, but for me they are totally worth it! They have decent grip, I like the fit on them, and the durability on them is good too, my previous pair of the same glove lasted my about 4-5 months. They don’t have finger saves but I prefer that, they’re a more light weight glove, which works for me because when a heavier glove with finger saves, my hands feel sluggish to me. I also feel that heavier gloves get too hot when you’re wearing them. Seriously I couldn’t recommend that you try these out enough. Amazing brand, amazing glove.

Jay did a great job explaining the nuances for gloves. What a lot of people dont' know is that most of those gloves are designed for Firm Ground Grass...and if you use those gloves on Artificial Grass they can get torn up quickly. I personally am not that much of a fan of the big brands anymore. Adidas and Nike gloves SUCK!!! I love Reusch (favorite) and a smaller company called Aviata. They make amazing gloves and are extremely comfortable and last for more than a season. Not that expensive for quality much better than Adidas or Nike!

If you’re looking for a good glove with finger protection, I would recommend the KA finger protector range. They’re not too expensive compared to the gloves on this list and have very good grip and finger protection. Even if you don’t like finger protection, you can take them out and their still great gloves.

I have been wearing The One Glove Company, the gloves are very durable and the grip is outstanding, the gloves are very comfortable and the best part it's average on gloves is retailed only around $45 - $60

My Nike mercurial touch elite gloves just ripped when I took them off today so this is there reason why I’m now here 😂

Adidas gloves are my favorite, I like how tight fitting they are and how all the support comes from my hand. The grip is super sticky just don’t let it dry out. If it does dry out just keep it wet with a water bottle and it will stay grippy

The One Glove Nova Type 2- only had 4 pairs all season and its a very high quality glove for very cheap

J4k(Just4Keepers) never gets a mention on lists but they are my go to glove, if your looking for cheap gloves with amazing grip that usually lasts up to 3-5 months for just game days and 2-3 months for training (3-5 times a week) the fit is amazing with large variety's of tight fitting to a loose feel, in my opinion the best glove on the market and very cheap as well the most expensive glove is only €40, I am not a sponsor I just really enjoy the gloves and they are constantly improving!

Well done for saying that the smaller brands maybe just as good... my opinion after 29 years as a goalkeeper and buying top of the range Reusch, Adidas, Nike, but mainly Uhlsport is that the J4K glove range is a very good value brand of glove... I think that the mainstream GK gloves have followed the boot prices for years (unfairly so, £150 for a pair?) time for a Generic 4mm gigagrip latex glove that can set the standard.

A store like Unisport only carries the big brands, so a "cheap gloves" list would just be the replica and takedown models, many of which are awful. If you want cheap but good quality gloves which perform well look for smaller brands like The One Glove Co and KA Goalkeeping.

You are right about Adidas ones but I have been with Adidas ace trans pro fingertip since 8 months which is good durability for the Adidas gloves.

I recommend Stanno Goalkeeper Gloves if you're on a tight budget!

This is my own and honest opinion: I LOVE the Nike Vapor Grip 3 gloves. They might not have THE best kickzone on the fingers, but they have an really strong and good grip and catching balls with'em, just feels nice. As a tip from ME, you should check out some videos about the Nike Vapor Grip 3. BUT remember: VAPOR Grip 3, not just Grip 3, this is another model which came out earlier (Not bad but not as good as the Vapor one, got that one too) Watch some videos 'bout them and build your own opinion about them :)

I have tried Uhlsport, Select, Reusch and HO Soccer. My personally favorite is the glove from HO Soccer. Please, get back the HO Glove to your store.
