Hi! My husband and I are visiting Norfolk and Chesapeake next weekend. We have never been but are considering moving there! We live in southern CA and we love it but it is just too expensive. We are hoping to start a family and are looking for a place with lots to do, but also an area with great schools/good place to raise a family, and most importantly - somewhere we can afford a home! The Norfolk/Chesapeake area seems to check a lot of those boxes. I've done a lot of research and your videos have been really helpful! We are excited to get out there next weekend and actually check it out. We are spending one full day in Norfolk, and one full day in Chesapeake. Unfortunately it's a very quick trip due to work, but do you have any advice for places/neighborhoods that are a must see in Chesapeake? Seems like northern Chesapeake is close enough to Norfolk where we could go into the city when we are looking for more restaurants/things to do. If we love it, we are going to come back in December, and possibly buy in early 2022. Thank you! -Jenna

I’d like to know how the move worked out for you guys. I lived in Norfolk for six years between 2007 to 2013. I have lived in Southern California since then and my husband and I are planning to move back to Virginia to Chesapeake specifically with our two toddler boys. If you found a neighborhood that you love I’d like to know about that. I am searching different neighborhoods and it will be a big help.
