What about Need for Speed World ? Despite having been shut down in 2015 it still exist with the name of "Soapbox Race World" and it's better than ever, with TONS of new cars and events, and everything is 100% free

Auto Club Revolution was like Gran Turismo for PC. Sadly, game is offline.

Forza Horizons whole point is that its open world, not just racing. Some people just drive around and watch a sunset. Now if you said FREE racing games like Forza Motorsport then I'm with ya.

What about Asphalt 8 or 9? Stunning visuals in 9 with mostly drifting and racing, there is no free roam/drive but there are hundreds of cars to upgrade and hundreds of tracks to race on AND it’s cross platform on Xbox pc iOS and android! Definitely worth a check out!!
