My father is currently in the negotiating process on an invincible 46 pilot house, curious to your thoughts on the smith custom boat 53? It’s the only other boat I see as competition to it since none of the others are pilot houses

Iv been on a bunch of cat hulls, including a Freeman, haven’t been on a invincible yet. But the Freeman is the nicest riding cat hull Iv been on.

Freeman’s are fine boats with a good ride. They are certainly great at marketing their story. If I was was spending that kind of money I would need to get to know their team like family. In my experience the company that feels more like family to me is Invincible 💯. Could that change overtime? Maybe. I can only go off of my experiences to this point.

Capt. SGT Peterson's - More than just fishing I’m not spending that kind of money, my bay boats have been Shallowsports, and when im ready for a offshore boat it will be a 32 X3. There locally made (local to me) and are like family. I don’t know if the 32 X3 will out perform the Freeman, but I do know my customer support and Shallowsport team will be there for me.

I just can't convince myself to spend $1.2 million on a Freeman and have to wait for 2 YEARS for it to be built. What is the price and turn around time on the Invincible?

What size boat are you looking at buying and what location. It depends...I can’t give you a good idea once I know those factors.

These will all be obsolete within a year or so - Aquila and several others are now incorporating foils that reduce file costs by 30% plus (important for charters) or increase range by 30% - improvements that are of such magnitude that depreciation will hit current vanilla hulled cats hard 🤗

I am looking forward to learning more about them. Pretty sure they said this about catamarans when they came out vs Monohull’s. Still plenty of hold overs...
