The Himiko is still in production and you can order one anytime. They have a branch in Europe for orders for the market there. The 10 cars you mentioned were a limited edition version of the regular Himiko with special badging and interiors. The regular version can still be ordered.

That Aston kit is so sublte but SO GOOD, another eye opening video, learned a lot and enjoyed it all! Keep it up!

Nice to see the exocet as an honorable mention. I’d bet there are more exocet conversions than any other on the list.

I like the blackwell sp1 it's basically a original design like k1 attack or ff 818

The Tipo 184 is a great looking kit you failed to mention.

I recall that BMW sent a cease and desist order to the company that made M3 panels for Miatas.

Congratulations you succeeded in getting every possible angle of the Craftech car without letting us get a clear view of the car’s overall design.

I built a Simpson Design Italia (not the Italia II ) back in 2003, which had a Ferrari look front and alfa romeo back end, a kind of blend of styles. Jim even made me a proto-type ferrari egg-crate grill he was working on. Was great fun to build and turned heads.

I just picked up a '95 na italia conversion! picked it up a bit on a whim as I was looking for an na and found it in my local market for the same price as any other decent example. any tips/tricks to offer? (especially in regard to the body) Love the little thing so far

yes but theres some repainting and wheel arch work that needs attention, so I might pull the front section off. either way, I've got a lot to learn about Simpsons and miatas in general, so I just ask incase theres anything you wish you knew before fitting the body/working on the car@@TaralgaBushAdventure

also if you did you yours back in 03, i think we'll have the same hood setup. did yours open conventionally or hinge from the front ?

i think a really clean build xenex like the one at 0:52 might be the most go karti kinda thing you can have for that price before you give up on body panels

The Aston kit doesn't really look like an Aston it just looks cool and the Saggaris is also awesome. They still look like Miatas but just cool Miatas. You don't have to tell anybody it's anything but a Miata. Its cool.

exactly what I thought when I saw one pop up locally when I was looking for an na, so I had to check it out ... and tbh it's a sweet little thing! was the same price as any other decent miata in my area so i snagged it. maybe a lil too quick on the draw but at the end of the day it's a miata so it's dead easy to work on (so far lol) and without any stupid ferrari badging or unnecessary chrome it really owns what it is: a miata with a little something extra. I happen to be into this bit of extra and while I see someone butchering it quite quickly at home, it can be a rad little car that's a classic on top and underneath now (just 25ish years design apart lol)

I have a 2007 ND. I like the (CRSFTTECH Astin Martin kit. But i went to google and could not even find that company please help. I know it said it was made for the ND version. But I am planning to buy another Mazada in 2024. Not a new one,but maybe the 2015 or 16 if I can find one here in Dominican Republic. Please help. But if they make one for the NC, i would fant !!!

I dont think its a bright idea to buy a 1st gen Boxster. At least until you are calculating that you want to make a restoration project and replace everything anyway. They were really, really, really cheap - like under 5,000 EUR for some time. Nobody wanted them, and the guys that bought them beated the shit out of them. They were not loved. Cars that stayed in one hand are very rare - and every single one had issues. Like many of them had their engines replaced at some point. And, well... part prices? Its a Porsche! And the build quality was really bad for todays standards. Its plastic fantastic. You know,... Mid 1990s plastic. They are also heavier then the Miatas. But then again they have that cool rear mid engine layout (while the Miata has a front mid engine layout). Its a good basis to start a new project car on it. Although you might need a bigger budget by now.

None of them are as beautiful as a Fiero Testarossa

The Xenex is adorable! But the Mitsuoka?! It's proportions are totally off. An absolutely ridiculous attempt to resemble European classics - like all the cars Mitsuoka makes.

Miata owners be like: it’s a sPOrtS CAr in the end, it’s still a Miata

All that money and time invested, just buy the real thing it will even hold its value.

how the hell is bauer just an honorable mencion? Is the only one that trully looks amazing and has any good design. All the others look like rep cars.
