Despite the fact the Bulgari Octo finissimo is my next target, I wouldn't qualify it as a dress watch. It's a beautiful and elegant sport watch. But a sport watch nevertheless.
Lovely selection. I like the Baume & Mercier but would prefer the GP. Champagne tastes on a kool-aid budget 😞

Da scheiden sich offensichtlich die Geister, aber in einer Top-10 Dress Watch-Liste wäre sicher auch Platz für eine Omega De Ville.

Every budget is an odd title, but these are very nice recommendations for the price ranges covered. Some Stowa or Junghans pieces may have fit under the 1000$ mark, and further below 500$ might have featured some entry Tissots, Seikos, and Orients.
I would argue you need 3 watches. 1- a fitness watch (smartwatch) for activities that you don't mind breaking ex Apple Watch 2. a daily wear or more casual watch that you can wear with everything except formal wear ex Steel Rolex Submariner 3. a dress watch for formal or suit wear (maybe) precious metal with leather strap
